These glass bottles have a swingtop closure and are of good quality. The gaskets appear to be made of a firmer silicone rather than a rubbery material. The benefit is that they are likely to last longer without breaking down; the disadvantage is that they are less flexible. br>br>The bottles arrived in good condition. Each bottle is individually wrapped in bubble wrap and separated by cardboard separators. Check out the images. Because the pen tip isn't very fine, the label will look better with fewer words. However, several words can be crammed into a small space. br>br>The bottles come with labels and a white ink pen to help you write on the brown labels. 6 spare gaskets and a collapsible silicone funnel are also included in the bottles. These are some excellent add-ons for the price. br>br>The swingtops perform admirably in terms of functionality. The metal appears to be of good quality, and none of them were difficult to open or close. br>br>I'm using them for vanilla, and they hold 5-gallon buckets. 6 vanilla beans and about 8 ounces of vodka, with room to spare at the top because the bottles are 8 1/2 ounces. I'd buy these again. br>br> They are respectable and can be given as gifts. giving, possibly with a small ribbon and this or another label.

When I first saw these bottles, I was taken aback. They're of good quality, with a sturdy, thick metal closure rather than the thin aluminum closure found on most modern bottles of this type. They were well-packaged, with two layers of bubble wrap on each bottle, before being placed in a sturdy shipping box. The extras caught me off guard as well. A nice funnel, labels, and a pen for writing on the labels are all included. I'm pleased with my purchase in general. Thank you very much.

To begin with, these bottles have a square base. Despite the fact that the box specifies "square swing-style," Nowhere in the description does it say "top bottles," and the photos make it difficult to tell. I wasn't expecting this, and I was specifically looking for bottles that weren't square to avoid the second problem I've had with these bottles--they're all square. Tops that are crooked. When the bottles are placed next to each other, the holes for the tops are drilled at various angles in relation to the square base, resulting in the tops facing different directions. While the uneven, crooked appearance may not bother some people, it does not appeal to me. br>br>I will return these bottles for these reasons. However, if you don't mind the crooked tops and square bases, these bottles are fantastic. They appear to be very durable, with no visible chips and no leaks. I would have kept them if the top placement had been more consistent.

This is the second time I've placed an order for these bottles. The first one was fantastic! Bottles that are clear, don't break, and have tight lids. I ordered a second shipment, only to be disappointed by the poor quality. Even after washing, the glass is cloudy and hazy, the holes for the clasp top were drilled in the wrong place, making the labels on the front look awkward, and the closure top is loose, causing some spillage when shaken. I'm disappointed because I was planning on making vanilla today! I was going to give one star if it hadn't been for the fact that my first order was perfect.

The item's title is totally deceptive! The dog was scared when this bottle exploded last night. Because it was only 8 oz, there wasn't much of a mess, but dealing with broken glass is a pain. I should've paid attention to the feedback. The cuteness factor is 5 stars, but the glass is weak and the title is misleading. It exploded strangely from the bottom corner/side, as shown in the pictures. The crack can also be seen in the first image, which extends from the blowout to the bottle's top. I make Jun tea (a cousin of kombucha), and I won't be using this bottle for that or water kefir anymore. I've only ever had one other bottle explode in my life, a 33 oz bottle of water kefir with raspberries that blew off the top glass where carbonation rises upwards because I forgot to burp it. (Raspberries strewn across the kitchen, ceiling, and cabinets, wreaking havoc!) ) I only used one Wildan 8 oz bottle, two other "stout/sauce" 8 oz bottles, and two 16 oz recycled kombucha bottles for this batch of Jun tea. The first batch I made with these 8 oz Wildan's went fine with all 6 of them placed in a small box for testing; the second batch I did with these 8 oz Wildan's went fine with all 6 of them placed in a small box for testing; the third batch I did with these 8 oz Wildan's went fine with all 6 of them placed in a small box for testing; the fourth batch I did with these 8 There were none that blew up. I've also read that square bottles aren't ideal for ferments such as kombucha, which makes me wonder. That's all there is to it. I wouldn't use this bottle for carbonated ferments like kombucha because it blew out from the bottom corner for whatever reason. Please let Amazon know that the title for this bottle needs to be changed by clicking the "Report incorrect product information" link below the description/title. Because carbonated ferments require a safe and proven bottle, the more people who do it, the more likely they will change it.

The bottles arrived a little later than expected, but they are exactly what I wanted and well-made. Bubble wrap was used to protect them, and thick cardboard spacers were used to separate them. The stoppers are perfect, and there has been no leakage. They came with six extra seals, but the ones that came on the bottles have been performing admirably thus far. I'm using them to make water kifer, and they're the perfect size for a single serving. I'm going to order some more because my kefir grains produce far too much for only six bottles! They also included a small collapsible funnel, labels, and a chalk marker for writing on the labels. I have yet to use the labels or the marker. The funnel works well and takes up very little space in the storage area. Bonus gifts are very nice!.

purchase was added! This purchase completely surpassed my expectations. br>At first, I mistook it for a simple order of six swing-arm chairs. Extra gaskets, labels, chalk, and a funnel were also included in the top bottles, much to my surprise. I am a firm believer in the phrase "you get what you pay for," but I got more in this case. I was so blown away that I went out and purchased a second box.
