I'm sorry, but I'm not able to understand; I can't speak for the wooden spoons because I've only had them for a short time, but I like them and they seem to last a long time for me.

Update: br>As of this writing, I bought this spoon three years ago. It has stirred over 700 pounds of peanut brittle and has been washed several times between batches. It's still going strong after all these years. It is beginning to show its age, but that is to be expected. so am I. As a backup, I'm going to order another. This spoon is one of my favorites. br>br>Original post:br>I was looking for a wooden spoon to make peanut brittle with. If you've ever made peanut brittle, you know how difficult it is to keep stirring a thick, resistant, sticky mess for the last few minutes. Even the biggest, heaviest spoon would find this a difficult task. Handles have broken and edges have splintered on several occasions. I ordered a few, and this one came out on top by a long shot. br>br>I ended up using this spoon to make over 100 pounds of my favorite holiday candy. This includes not only the stirring (which is easy to do) but also the cleaning, which requires soaking and scrubbing to remove the solidified sugar, syrup, and peanut residue. This spoon appears to be nearly new in the photograph. Amazing!.
This spoon is one of my favorites. I use one for general cooking and the other to stir my coffee beans in a large cast iron dutch oven as they roast.
