I'm a chef, so I'm constantly tasting things; this is a good concept, but it's poorly executed. The spoon itself isn't as wide as it should be, and you have to angle it up quite high to remove it from the pot/pan due to the length of the handle, so a lot of the juice drains out before you can even taste it.
Spoon made of Olive Wood.
" I adore olive-wood utensils that have been handcrafted. Okay, this spoon is a "beautiful" tasting spoon, not one that "tastes" beautiful. This unique spoon has a large spoon on one end (approx 1/2 TBLSP) for lifting liquid out of pots/pans and a channel for cooling liquid before reaching the tasting spoon (approx 1/2 tsp) on the other end, ensuring the chef does not get lip burns while tasting their liquid/stock masterpiece. how cute. This method is effective. What a brilliant idea. The idea of having two spoons in one is also appealing to me. enjoy.
It's a little difficult to taste spoons, but it's ideal!.
The olive wood is strong and long-lasting. artisanal and lovely; This utensil is a delight to use. For the past seven years, I've relied on Berard products, and the quality has remained consistent.
These spoons are very nice! There are two usable ends and the wood is solid and nice.
The first one had a ship on the back end of the spoon when I got it in the mail. I returned it without issue and was given a replacement, only to discover that it, too, had a small chip. No one appears to be looking over these before they are sent out. I was dissatisfied with the outcome.
