Yes. It's ideal for meat preparation. It's a little bigger than dinner forks, but not quite as big as many serving forks. I mean that in a positive light. I have a lot of serving forks, and some of them are almost too large. This is a fantastic choice.
It's about the same length as a fork. It's very sturdy, but in my opinion, it's not quite long enough.

These aren't fancy, but they're also not ridiculously cheap. I use a lot of slotted spoons because I have small children, so they're a good value for the money. I use this when making chunky soups or cooked vegetables for toddlers because I don't want them to drink too much liquid. This is the one I've been using lately. Because the slots are large enough, the liquid moves quickly through them. Corn does not fall through the slots, despite the fact that they are quite large. That hasn't been an issue for me.
They all had a few fine scratches on them, which isn't uncommon in lower-priced flatware. br>br>The simple handle design is appealing, but it isn't quite as tall or rounded on the edges as I'd like, and there are a few sharp edges where the decorative cut on the edge of the handles met the smooth uncut edge near the handle's end. Those will be taken care of with a little wear. They have a nice weight to them, and they don't feel flimsy in the least. The bowl measures approximately 2 inches in diameter. From the handle to the spoon's tip, it's about 1/8" long and about 1-inch wide. The handle is 4 inches long and 7/8" wide. 3/4" in length The spoons are about the same length as my tablespoons, but the bowls are a little rounder and deeper. The 18/8 stainless steel was stamped on all of the spoons.
a respectable amount of food $5 per spoon on the expensive side of things. Bed Bath and Beyond has "Chowder" Spoons that 60% are 60% less in price ($1. They've become my go-to spoon for soups, thanks to their higher quality polished stainless steel finish, heavier gauge steel, and larger dish volume. Gourmet Settings Windermere Chowder Spoon,.
The spoons have a nice texture to them. sizing and layout (I did not come across any slots that were over-stuffed. ) large. They're quite attractive. My purchase has satisfied me. But . The stainless steel is 18/8, not the heavier 18/10 used by some other manufacturers (CIA, Manao). While not at all flimsy, these spoons are a tad too light-weight. For a perfect 5 rating, you must weigh in. I'm a little hesitant to use them in front of other people. But they were a good deal, so I bought a bunch of them, and I'll get over it.
Not a dozen, but just one spoon. Sure, it's a lovely spoon. It is something I intend to use. However, when I placed my order for this spoon, I expected to receive exactly what was shown in the picture. THERE IS NOT A SINGLE SPOON IN THE ENTIRE ENTIRE ENTIRE ENTIRE So, yeah, maybe I should have looked into it a little more. But shouldn't the people selling this just show a single spoon so that no one thinks they're ordering a dozen? What are you going to do, Monty's, about it? It's deceiving and dishonest. Will you do the right thing, or will you continue to deceive people into thinking they're getting a dozen spoons when they only get one?.
My previous slotted spoon has vanished, and I'm not sure what happened to it. Maybe you could take it to a potluck and leave it there? br>br>Anyway, I purchased this one and am very pleased with it. It's well-made, functional, and attractive, with a fair price.
It appears to be in good condition. It's well-made, has a good weight to it, has a pleasant feel to it, and it looks nice. It's a little bigger than I expected (the spoon portion measures 3" x 2"). 5"), but I couldn't find a tablespoon that was the right size, so this suffices. Despite the fact that I have only had it for a short time, I find myself using it frequently. The slats appeared to be too wide for corn at first glance, which is why I bought it, but nothing falls through.
I wish the slotted end of the spoon was a little smaller. It's a little big to get the small dill pickles out of the jar comfortably.
