Would these knives work for people who are left handed? I have a left hand. Does this knife have a flat edge?

I agree, the knives are round and the handles are flat. It should be no problem for you to use them.

In this design, do these spreaders feature pits in the edges or do the black squares just appear when they are painted?

Cheese knives are not to be used. It is impossible to cut through anything with these. Is this to say I got a sharper edge of some sort? have no idea what these are for, they are probably not used to make cheese.

I really like this style. In this case, the hard cheese slicer is not ergonomically correct. The handle is too long and thin, and you must use two hands to cut a wedge through it.
