I'm curious about that as well; I like the knife, but your point about the body being gross is correct.
I've cut frozen meat before, but only after letting it sit for 30 minutes or defrosting it in the microwave for 30 seconds. But I'm a 110-pound stumbling block. It's a fantastic knife; I've tried other SOB "Some Other Brands" knives and this is by far the best.
I have the Wolfgang, and I really like it. The carving blade is very quiet, and it's really good. The frozen food, on the other hand, I don't care for. However, short of a bandsaw or a food saw, I don't think there's anything better.
When I moved into the nursing home, I gave it away. br>As a result, I'm clueless. Please accept my sincere apologies.

One of the most powerful, long, and large electric knives I've ever owned. Large and small poultry, meats, vegetables, and fruits all work well in this container. The two groups of people who are self-assured Sharpening knife blades can carve any thickness slice you want without tearing or shredding the material. (It also cuts cardboard and foam rubber if the need arises. )br>br>The handle rotates 360 degrees, allowing for easy cutting at any angle. On the handle, there is a safety switch that must be pressed continuously while in use - It may be difficult for anyone with a small hand grip (or arthritis). The knife is kept safe and sound in the sturdy box it comes in. br>br>Excellent value for money.
So I purchased this to cut high-density foam. not meat. I'm sure it works well with meat as well. However, it killed foam and was a million times cheaper than a heated foam knife, so if you're making a window seat cover, this little fella will easily cut your upholstery foam.
The degradation of plastic appears to be taking place. The product is an excellent electric knife, but after about 20 minutes of use, it began to malfunction. The black portion, handle, and body of the bag became sticky after 24 months. After seeing mine, my friends bought one and started using it right away. Let me tell you something. Theirs became sticky around the same time as mine, and it is no longer enjoyable to use.
Before buying these, I did some research and found them to be highly recommended among the dozen or so popular electric knives, but I found holding both buttons (safety feature? ) and maneuver the knife at various angles while carving a bird; additionally, the unit I received appears to have either a short or a bad switch, as it frequently cuts out, necessitating the release of both buttons and restarting. After Thanksgiving, I completely forgot about it and did not return it. I may have just gotten a lemon, and normally these aren't as painful to use, but I'm fairly certain it would still be difficult to operate even if the switch worked properly, simply due to poorly oriented switches, or bad ergonomics depending on how you look at it.
From Amazon, you can get a Blade Electric Carving Knife with Rotating Handle. It was my first purchase of an electric knife. I was tempted to purchase a less expensive model from a different manufacturer, but after reading all of the reviews, I decided to follow the advice of one reviewer and purchase a more expensive model in the hopes that it would be my first and last electric knife; I've used it twice in two weeks and have nothing but positive things to say about it. It's simple to use, comes with both regular and frozen food blades, has plenty of power, and the rotating handle allows you to cut in a comfortable position. Anyone with high performance expectations should consider purchasing this electric knife. It's a good investment.
The blades wouldn't go into the powerhead; something wasn't quite right inside, and the blades wouldn't lock into place. I've had a Cuisinart knife for a long time and am familiar with its operation. My Cuisinart's switch finally gave out after years of service. I understand why the wolfgang puck was marked as done at 90. 00 to 20. 00 US Dollars The quality is poor.
I finally returned to my 20-year-old Black I really regret not returning the Decker carving knife. What a letdown and a squander of funds. I'm going to give it away as soon as possible.
We like this knife, but we can't use any of the other blades because we don't have any. We intended to return it, but we had used it a few times before attempting to swap out the blades and discovering that it would not come out.
