I've owned several electric knives, some of which broke down after only a few uses. The features I like about this knife are: first, it uses a trigger rather than a button you press with your thumb, second, it has a safety for the trigger like a rifle, and third, it has a cooling fan built in and you can feel the air moving out the back of the unit when operating. The knife comes with a two-year warranty, and Black and Decker is a well-known brand. The only drawback is that it does not include a storage bag or box.
