As soon as I saw the ruler, I pulled it out. A little under 1/2 inch, but a little under 3/8 inch is more like it. I really like the way this is written.
I would not describe it as smooth it has a texture, but it isn't
When we smoke meat for parties, I use it to cut Brisket. Upon being heated, it does wrinkle a bit, but it seems to return to its original shape afterward. However, it does warp a little, but not much. put it on a large cookie sheet so that the juice would drip off. I love it.

The board was cut to make a cutting board in up our camper and a sink cover. The counter space really benefited from this.

For all my cooking I have always used a series of small flexible cutting boards. I like to have one for the meat and another one for the vegetables, etc. As I was looking for this board, I was looking for something that would be able to handle the large jobs like cutting watermelons, which would require Thanks to the measurement, the sink I purchased was the perfect size.

I have not been eating it so I am keeping it for that reason alone. There was a deep cut in the middle of it and it was badly bent. My first thought was that it was cracked, but I am certain that it is It was heated with a heat gun to flatten it as best as I could so that With a smaller cut beside it, the middle of the cut is deep all the way through. You have to decide whether you want to cut on it or work with it. A knife leaves ridges that cause the dough to stick to itself. The wooden board I used for cutting the dough was my cutting board. As long as I don't need to clean it, I leave it on the counter all the time. I can't store it anywhere in my kitchen because it's pretty big.
