What exactly is its thickness? Is it 1/2" thick, or something like 3/8" thick?

As soon as I saw the ruler, I pulled it out. A little under 1/2 inch, but a little under 3/8 inch is more like it. I really like the way this is written.

What is the smoothness of the surface?

I would not describe it as smooth it has a texture, but it isn't

Are you able to use it in a hot environment? The hot casserole dish is likely to be placed on top of ?

When we smoke meat for parties, I use it to cut Brisket. Upon being heated, it does wrinkle a bit, but it seems to return to its original shape afterward. However, it does warp a little, but not much. put it on a large cookie sheet so that the juice would drip off. I love it.

This problem was solved with the use of mechanical fasteners [the slab of HDPE was nailed to the countertop with stainless steel screws, as dough doesn't stick to it like it does to wood]. Election results show Donald Trump to have won.

A bit like what I was trying to find

For all my cooking I have always used a series of small flexible cutting boards. I like to have one for the meat and another one for the vegetables, etc. As I was looking for this board, I was looking for something that would be able to handle the large jobs like cutting watermelons, which would require Thanks to the measurement, the sink I purchased was the perfect size.

After receiving the sink, I was overwhelmed by its quality. A moistened towel under it will ensure it does not move around and you will have tons of space for your prep. It's the only thing I don't like about it it's non-transparent The healing process. You can gouge it with a knife, but you will have a mar in the surface that won't go away until you use a heat gun to reshape it. It would have been better if I was offered an impermeable surface to work with on a repeat basis. I would disagree that those scratches are where germs thrive.

Instead, it's a nice piece of equipment for the kitchen which will save you time in the morning.

I have not been eating it so I am keeping it for that reason alone. There was a deep cut in the middle of it and it was badly bent. My first thought was that it was cracked, but I am certain that it is It was heated with a heat gun to flatten it as best as I could so that With a smaller cut beside it, the middle of the cut is deep all the way through. While I plan on using this for cutting leather, it would be unacceptable if it were to be used for food. We do not know what happened to it before I got it. If you don't have a heat gun or don't care that someone else might have tried it and sent it back, you might want to look elsewhere.

I wanted a large surface area that I could cut vegetables on, make 24 hr pizza dough on, and use to prep food when I use my instant Everything I listed above and more was done with this. It took me a while to get my head around the size, you can't really comprehend at first until you see it in person. Once I discovered that I could place my instapot on one of my counters, I put it next to my pot while I was cutting vegetables. It was perfect for all my prep-related needs and sandwich-making – even for my instapot. When I am cooking in this kitchen, I feel like I am in charge. Cleaning afterwards is much easier because of that. My sink is a small one, but I found it not the hardest thing to scrub, rinse, and turn I like how sturdy it is. It is very easy It is also not as likely for bacteria to collect on it as it is on a wooden cutting board. It seems to be a very tough and durable surface, especially when used with a chef's knife and it has been really hard to scratch for me, so I would highly recommend it if you organize all your food prep on it.

My heart really is heavy- I love it a lot. The size is HUGE. I bought the big size and The counters are all taken up by it Man, I love being able to cut veggies without having to keep track of them rolling away from the cutting board when I was prepping a meal, my husband even joined me from the other side of the board and was cutting Using this method, no one stepped on anyone else's toes, and it was very convenient to do it together, which was never the case with There's a lot of good information in this It is easily cleaned (though I found the weight to be a little heavy for me) The biggest problem is that they are hard to store (because of the size, you need to find a place for that in the kitchen). I bought a small one at the grocery store, but it is hard to store. It is a great book for anyone to read.

Rolling out dough is easy with it The amount of it is quite substantial It can also be used as a cutting board

You have to decide whether you want to cut on it or work with it. A knife leaves ridges that cause the dough to stick to itself. The wooden board I used for cutting the dough was my cutting board. As long as I don't need to clean it, I leave it on the counter all the time. I can't store it anywhere in my kitchen because it's pretty big. Besides being very convenient, it also provides a safe place to place hot pots and a place to leave cakes to cool on racks. It really is the most amazing thing ever. If you are buying an area, be sure to measure it beforehand! This is a big deal.
