Questions & Answers

Is there a basket that you can fill with your own espresso grinds rather than using capsules?

After using your official Nespresso espresso pods, you'll have to peel/cut the top off, but you can buy a Geesta aluminum foil reseal kit (one-time purchase, then just the aluminum foils going forward) to reuse them. Simply clean and reuse your old nespresso pods, grind your own espresso, and reseal the pod with Geesta foils. Use it over and over again.

I only bought it a few months ago, and the frother has stopped working. Is this really that inexpensive?

If there is any residual dried milk or cream in the frother, it will not spin properly, assuming it turns on at all. After each use, make certain everything is clean.

Unlike my previous model, the Aeroccino does not make a foam out of the milk. Is this a problem that anyone else is having? Isn't it true that I'm carrying a whip around with me?

It's possible that the problem is caused by the milk you're drinking. Some milk brands produce a nice thick foam, while others produce very little foam.

Original capsules are used in the Essence mini. ?

Yes, the ones that are shaped like a "cone," not like a dome. You can also use capsules made by other companies.

This is fantastic! I've been mixing up Nespresso and Nescafe for a long time
5/5

It looked like a high-end instant coffee to me. Then, during Thanksgiving, I got my first taste of a Nespresso coffee machine, which I absolutely adore. It's simple to operate, and it produces some of the best espresso and coffee I've ever tasted. It came as a complete surprise to me. br>br>I chose this Essenza because of its compact size. It's the perfect size for my kitchen counter. It does the job and produces more than just espresso (about 1. 4 oz), as well as an espresso lungo (approximately 4 oz). br>br>I've been grinding my own beans and making pour-over coffee since the beginning of the year. I've been drinking coffee for a long time, but I believe this method is much tastier, faster, and more convenient, and I like the sound the machine makes. Pods: br>br>About pods: This is an "Old Line" machine, as opposed to the newer machines. Pods of various shapes are used in line machines. Cross compatibility is not possible with the pods. Because there are fewer companies producing and selling the new line pods, they are more expensive. There are espresso pods and what are known as Lungo pods, depending on which type you purchase. Lungo pods have a stronger coffee flavor than regular pods. akin to power A clever trick I learned is to make an espresso and then push the lungo button to add another 4 ounces of hot water through the pod when it's done. It's a method of preparing an Americano (a watered-down version of a regular coffee). a cup of espresso It has a lot more flavor than most brewed coffee cups. br>br>Lungo belongs to a separate pod.

Excellent, but the coupon is missing
4/5

Nespresso is a favorite of ours. It makes espressos, lattes, cappuccinos, and other coffee drinks very simple to make. I used to work as a barista at a local specialty coffee shop, and nothing beats freshly roasted, freshly ground beans in a real espresso machine, but it's expensive and time consuming to maintain. So, if the real thing is a ten, I'd rate this machine an eight out of ten. br>Unfortunately, we did not receive a ten percent off coupon in our box. Pods: Pods: Pods: Pods: Pods: Pods: Pods: Pods If you're only drinking espresso shots, I recommend Peet's, which can be found at Target. Nespresso pods are good, but Peet's pods are the best. You might be able to get away with using Trader Joe's pods if you're making flavored lattes. I prefer the lungos pods (which you simply use to make espresso and then flavor with syrup and foamed milk). You can taste or appreciate the espresso after adding syrup (I recommend Torani syrup, which can be found at a discount at Ross/TJ Maxx). br>For those interested in pod pricing, here's some information: br>Nespresso is a coffee beverage produced by the Italian company Nespresso. Pods can cost anywhere from 70 cents to $2 per pod. Peet's: 00 per podbr>Peet's: 00 per podbr>Peet's: 00 per 79 pesos per pod (7. 25). Trader Joe's: 99 for a box of 10)br> 3 pods for 39 cents each br>Target: 99 per box of 10)br> 4 pods for 49 cents each 99 for a box of ten, but they're awful)br>LaVazza: 60 cents per pod ($6 for a box of ten on sale, but they taste awful). br>br>Have fun with it!.

It was a wise decision
5/5

We chose a Nespresso primarily due to the positive reviews. We considered getting Vertuoline, but after looking at the price of the capsules, we decided against it and went with this originaline Essenza instead. What a fantastic acquisition! It came with some Nespresso capsules, but the best part is that THIRD PARTY CAPSULES CAN BE PURCHASED FOR IT! We discovered them not only online, but also in our neighborhood supermarket! This machine produces excellent espresso and coffee with a lovely crema. After that, there was the frother-in-law-in-law-in- great! (Almond or coconut milk, as well as milk or half-and-half, can be used. ) My daughter used chocolate milk) On Thanksgiving, we served this to our guests and it was a huge hit! This is something I would buy again in a heartbeat. We're glad we got the original line because we wouldn't have enjoyed it as much if the capsules were more expensive. We're not going to be able to do it with this. You can even use capsules that can be refilled. I bought the glass capsule drawer, and it looks great in my coffee bar. There's no need to clean it, and it holds a lot of water. THE COFFEE IS VERY HOT. Nespresso has this down to a science. Our daughter owns a Starbucks Verismo and has expressed an interest in having one of ours.

There are (minor) trade-offs when you're small
4/5

I've been a long-time fan of Nespresso - since the machines' introduction to the European market - I'm pretty sure I've owned every Nespresso model ever produced. So, yes, I am a Nespresso devotee. br>This machine is exceptionally well-made - DeLonghi-branded machines, in my experience, are slightly better than Nespresso-branded machines. Despite the fact that it is primarily made of plastic, it is sturdy and well-made. br>I like how small it is - it's perfect for me. This takes up far less space on a countertop and is easily transportable if you want to take it with you when you visit family or friends over the holidays. br>However, there is an expected trade-off with the smaller size - You'll have to keep refilling the water and emptying the capsules more frequently - Given the additional space provided by this unit, neither of these issues are a major concern. br>The most obvious trade-off is that the height of the cup or mug you can use without removing the drip base is limited (approx. 4"). The only mugs that will work are espresso and traditional cappuccino mugs (low but with a wide mouth). Without removing the drip base, none of my standard coffee mugs fit under the dispenser. It's so close that I'm curious why the drip base wasn't designed with an extra half inch to allow common coffee mugs to be used with the drip base in place. It's not a deal breaker, but it's worth keeping in mind. br>Also, this machine does not have an on/off switch; instead, you press the espresso or lungo button on the top of the machine, which flashes while warming up and stops when it is ready to brew. If you're switching from another Nespresso model, this one is simple but unique. br>The Aeroccino3 frother can be used with either hot or cold milk. It costs around $100 separately, so if you want/need a frother, this bundle is a great deal. The main distinction between this design and the previous one is one of appearance - Because it is taller and narrower, reaching the inside frothing device is a little more difficult. Also, I prefer the previous frother because it has a handle. The frother, on the other hand, operates in the same manner and produces excellent results. br>Overall, I like this machine a lot - It's well-made and produces great espresso. The smaller size won't be able to replace my regular Nespresso, but it's a great addition to an office, RV, party room, or guest room, or any other location with limited space.
