Questions & Answers
Yes, but this product is intended to be used as a coffee warmer. Set of stainless steel mugs, because stainless steel mugs retain heat better. The performance of the warmer may be compromised if you use a ceramic mug or other mugs. Also, please keep in mind that we sell separate coffee warmers on Amazon. I hope this has been of assistance. If you have any additional questions, please reach out to us via Amazon Messages.
According to the readout, the warming plate reaches around 180F. My tea stays very hot no matter what the temperature is. It's not hot enough to burn my lips or mouth, but it's hot enough to make me feel like I've just eaten something freshly prepared. It does get a little too hot to drink comfortably if I leave it on the warming plate for a long time when there is only about half an inch of beverage left, but that's to be expected. I'm sure it would be fine if I lowered the temperature as I approached the end of my tea.
We advise against using the dishwasher to extend the life of the mug. I hope this information is useful. If you have any additional questions, please contact us via Amazon Message.
Surface heating necessitates a significant amount of electric power. In less than half an hour, a cordless warmer of this size would be out of power. This is a corded device that requires a 120V (or 110V) outlet to operate. That is something to rejoice over. It maintains the temperature of your coffee throughout the day.

I first used it at work, and it was perfect on the first day, and I was telling my coworkers about it. They were extremely pleased with how it appeared. br>br>One feature I dislike is the automatic time-out feature. So I'm thinking all day about remembering to turn it off before I leave the office. br>br>The first day, I turned it off and left the office. br>br>The next day, I came in and it was also turned off, and the touch button was red. The surface, on the other hand, was extremely hot. When I lifted the device, the office's wooden surface became extremely hot. I noticed that it was set to the highest temperature when I turned it on. It's a good thing it didn't catch fire (especially since no one was in the office at the time). br>br>So I simply unplugged it and stopped using it; the next day, I simply wanted to test it, so I plugged it in but turned it off (button Red). I was surprised that it was still heating up despite the fact that it was turned off! br>So I just stopped using it altogether to avoid any risk. br>br>Unfortunately, it wouldn't make sense for me to return the device from Saudi Arabia due to the device price versus the shipping fees, and I'm not sure if all of the devices would be the same. The seller did not respond when asked if all of their devices are the same (it's possible that some of their inventory is defective, which they are well aware of). They also refused to re-enter the competition. Please send me a device that works.
I recommend that you purchase the version of this warmer without the metal cup. Your beverage will stay about 10 degrees warmer in the cup than in a regular ceramic mug. I tested it and found that after 30 minutes, the temperature of the coffee in this cup was 125 degrees and 115 degrees in a regular mug. The hotter coffee is nice, but the metal cup is too hot to eat from without getting burned. Instead of adding a special cup that allows for better heat transfer from the hot plate, they should have made the warmer produce more heat.
Unfortunately, the mug that I received had a "rust type looking ring" on the inside. I tried it because I assumed it was cosmetic. That was not the case; my drink had a strange flavor. I wouldn't buy this if you don't have a mug with a flat bottom. It doesn't keep the drink as warm as my older, less attractive warmer did.
It appears that the switch is in good working order. I like the warmer and would give it five stars if it weren't for the stainless steel cup, which I still have a problem with. The steel heats up too quickly, and if I use it within 15 minutes of turning it on, I risk burning my lips. I recommend a cup with thicker sides and a thicker top. ORIGINAL REVIEW: BR>BR>ORIGINAL REVIEW: BR>BR>ORIGINAL REVIEW: BR>ORIGINAL REVIEW Pros: a nice design and a good digital displaybr>contrary to popular belief, there are some drawbacks to this product. The stainless steel cup has a major flaw in its design. The flat bottom ensures good conductivity, allowing this 3amp Hester to heat coffee. The only issue is that the flat metal bottom of the cup extends up the sides and comes into contact with your lips. Stainless steel has a thermal conductivity about 25 times that of water, which means that by the time this device heats the water to your desired temperature, the mug's rim will be so hot that your lips will be burned. The solution is to lower the temperature, but you'll have to go so low to avoid lip burn that the liquid inside will be at a lower temperature than you'd like. Yes, the mug requires a highly conductive base, but the side and portion of the mug that comes into contact with your lips must be insulated. The mug design needs to be improved. Second, the off switch, as far as I can tell, is not functional. The temperature does not drop when the off button is pressed, despite the red light indicating that it is turned off. I have to unplug the warming plate from the wall or disconnect the cord from the device to cool it down; this isn't the first time this has happened, so it must be common. I gave this product two stars because it appears to be cool, but it lacks in terms of safety. In terms of quality, this is a disaster. Recommendations to the manufacturer: br>br> (1) keep the flat bottom design, but make the sides double wall construction; this will prevent lip burn better than the silicon sleeve that runs halfway up the sides; and (2) make your off button actually turn the thing off. It should not be necessary for me to say this. Let's face it, you're a jerk!.
For my coffee, I've always used a 24 or 25 watt warmer because I know it needs that much power to keep the drink hot. I was looking for a new warmer to replace my old one, and I was thrilled to come across this set. I'm glad I bought the set because this mug is essential if you want to keep your drink hot. With my previous warmers, I always used a perfectly flat mug with no bottom rim, but my flat bottomed mug didn't stay hot enough with this warmer. Although this stainless steel mug retains heat well, take care when taking the first sip of a hot beverage straight from the pot, as the steel is extremely hot. It quickly settles into its ideal state. There were no washing instructions included with the mug, so I was relieved to discover in the Q&A section that hand washing, rather than dishwasher, is recommended. Because it isn't hot enough for a regular mug, I would only recommend the combo.
To turn it off, you must literally pull the plug. I've discovered that the hot plate does not turn off even when the "Off Switch" is pressed and the light turns RED. It keeps getting hotter. And if your coffee supply is low, it simply evaporates, continuing to heat the mug and keeping it hot despite your efforts to turn it off. To turn it off, you must physically pull the plug and disconnect it. Surprisingly, none of the Cosori YouTube reviewers brought up this issue.
