They have a pleasing appearance and are a strong crock. Look forward to using them in cobbler, creme brulee, scalloped potatoes, and other dishes, as well as on the counter with your salt and pepper, etc. because they're so pretty!br>br>Update: My shopping experience was flawless from start to finish. I went to Amazon and found these lovely blue 8 oz ramekins, and I was sold just by their appearance. I needed a crock that could withstand high heat while remaining attractive enough to serve to catered meal guests. The 8 oz. Dowan is a great choice for a special occasion. The ramekins were exactly what I needed, and they were very easy to clean (no scrubbing required). Because I am a Prime member, my order arrived quickly and was well packaged.

My son and I have been experimenting with new recipes during our quarantine, and Creme Brulee is one of our most recent attempts. After a mediocre first attempt with a mish-mash of ingredients, oven-baked mash I made the decision to go all-in on safety vessels. Come in and buy a set of ramekins (along with a torch, of course!). I ordered a second set after being so impressed with my first set and loving the functionality for everyday use (aside from Creme Brulee). Our next Creme Brulee attempt went off without a hitch. I used a total of 8 ramekins, all of which fit perfectly in my pan and set perfectly. I ended up ordering a third set of ramekins in order to have a total of 18 ramekins. Once our social distancing period has passed, we'll have enough for a proper dinner party. I'm sure I'll get a lot of use out of these, and I'm already looking at Dowan's other products. I'm blown away. br>br>Also, I'd like to point out how well they're packaged, with plenty of foam wrapping; it's nice to see a company go the extra mile.

My ramekins have a special place in my heart. It's the perfect Tiffany blue color. I like that they can be used in the dishwasher, microwave, and oven. They're just the right size, and I love preparing my deserts and everything that goes into them! I would strongly advise anyone to try these; you will not be disappointed!.

These are fantastic! The glaze is free of chips and cracks. They're a medium-weight ceramic, in my opinion. They don't have a dense feel to them, but neither do they have a cheap feel to them. They were well-packaged and arrived in Hawaii in perfect condition. The ounce measurements noted on the bottom are something I wish they had. On the bottom, there is a Dowan image. I haven't put them in the dishwasher yet, but I will update my review if they fall apart. They'll work well as baking bowls and small serving bowls. br>I'm extremely pleased with them.

I searched high and low for the ideal set, and this is it. I like the color, and they're practical for everyday use (a lot of my new recipes require 4 inch ramekins). These are also elegant enough to use when we have dinner guests, and I would highly recommend them to anyone in need of 8 oz (4 inch) ramekins. Two big thumbs up!.

I bought the ramikins to make individual cheesecakes, but I was under the impression that they came with lids, allowing me to refrigerate and stack the cheesecakes. I can't seem to find lids that fit. br>br> Everything else is too big, except corning ware, which is too small. Because the plastic covers prevent stacking, I'll have to make cardboard inserts to place between the 'cakes' when refrigerating them so they don't take up too much space. Apart from that, br>br> They're quite attractive and appear to be well-made - it's the perfect size for individual cheesecakes It's just a pity they don't come with snap-on lids or even a link to where you can get them. I'm thinking about returning them because it appears that I'll be going back to my small corning ware clear jars with lids that fit. br>br>At first, I planned to make cheesecakes in canning jars, but after learning that the average canning jar isn't designed to withstand oven heat, I started looking for alternatives.

2 stars because it's pretty, the color is accurate, and it's a good price, but one of the six pieces arrived broken. This did not break during shipping because neither the Amazon box nor the product box were damaged, and there were no dents on the styrofoam it came on. Scuffs on the sides, indentations/depressions in the box, and scratches are all absent. This led me to believe that either the brand isn't very durable, or the seller isn't too concerned about quality control. I won't be returning because I only require four, but having two spares would have been ideal. I'll report back after a few uses on how they're holding up.
