I haven't tried them in the broiler yet, but they're a substantial ceramic. I wouldn't think twice about it.
Yes, you can make creme brulee and other desserts with these in an instant pot. These ramekins were purchased specifically for use with my instant pot.
The location of manufacture is not indicated on the bowls or the packaging. They are, however, quite lovely.

They were all in excellent condition when they arrived, and I'm very happy with my purchase. Each ramekin is the same size as a single-serving ramekin. dessert should be served It's not sticky, and it's attractive. I'd always wanted ramekins, and I'm glad I went with these. They look like they're from a fine dining establishment! If you found this review useful, please share it with others. Please give it a thumbs up if you enjoyed it. br>br>(I was not compensated in any way for writing this review. ) This is a product that I paid for with my own money!.
The clay work is also very consistent, and the packaging was extremely impressive. These are, indeed, the ramekins you seek. Tip: Keep the box and foam insert intact and use it to safely transport wine bottles home. There will be no clattering or clunking. cheers!.
To address the four common criticisms of the zillions of ramekins available on Amazon. 1) These are true white (not white'ish-white). grey (as some customers have complained about similar products in the past). 2) These are 6 ounces, not the standard 8 ounces, and the two sizes are not interchangeable. These are ideal for small desserts and soufflés, but make sure you get the 6 oz size; 3) They are kinda-sorta-sorta-sorta-sorta-sorta-sorta-sorta-sorta-sorta-sorta-sorta-sorta-sorta-sorta-sorta- Stackable in some ways They don't nest neatly into each other, but you can stack them for storage; and 4) They were well-packaged with foam, and while the box was a little beat up, the ramekins themselves were in good shape. br>br>In conclusion, if you need a set of classic white 6 oz. These will suffice as ramekins.
The Creme Brûlée turned out to be fantastic! I'm going to buy a second set (or two) so I can make Creme Brûlée for my large family gathering. get-togethers They are fantastic.
3 of them arrived broken, which is a huge disappointment because I had planned to use them for Valentine's Day but now I have to return them. I really wish someone could just send me replacements for the three that are broken so I can use the others.
These were purchased for Thanksgiving and were the ideal size for Individual Chicken Pot Pies! I completed both the Regular and the Extended versions. They were filled with gluten-free pot pies, which turned out to be delicious. They're also very easy to clean (dishwasher safe), and the packaging was so attractive that I didn't want to throw the box away. I would strongly suggest it.
They come well padded, as others have mentioned, with each one fitting into its own hole in a sheet of styrofoam and being covered with another layer. It's a good idea to keep them in a box. br>I purchased these to make Creme Brulee because the recipe called for 6 oz ramekins. Others suggested an increase to eight. I debated between these and a shallower oval-shaped dish, but ultimately decided on these. In every way, they're fine. No flaws, and it holds up well to heat, even when the top edges are blasted with a torch while the bottom part is chilled to about 40 degrees from being in the fridge. br>Cleaning is simple. There have been no complaints. br>However, I now wish I had found some shallower oval ramekins for the creme brulee because I'm not used to having such a deep custard, and the shallower, oval type gives you more surface area to caramelize the sugar on top and the custard isn't as deep. So each bite has the perfect balance of sugar crust and delicious custard. br>However, these are ideal for baking anything that requires this size.
This is a good price, especially considering the number of people who are included. It comes with eight 8-ounce ramekins, which are the perfect size for individual servings; they're a little lighter than I expected, and the bottom of the product is oddly not glazed like the rest of it. I'm not sure why this is the case. I'd like them to come with lids as well. The color is more of a light off white than a true white, but this is only noticeable when compared to something completely white.
