Questions & Answers

Here's the deal I need to understand what I'm After adding the chemical, the water was blue, no pink. If I had added drops, it would have been pink. ?

If your water is already soft, it means it is already soft. In the case of pink water, subtract however many drops you add to turn it blue to determine the degree of hardness. The fact that you didn't have to add any drops indicates that your water has 0 grains of hardness.

Does this hardness test kit have a wide hardness range? How are you?

In order to widen the range of your sample, dilution can be used. Pour distilled water (clear rainwater, or softened water previously treated with softening agents) on the rice. It's easy to use soft water, but make sure that it doesn't have any hardness. If you dilute your solution, your range will double. Adding a factor of 9 to the range increases it by ten times. If you do not want to eyeball it, a cheap drugstore syringe can be used for dilutions.

How will the test tube and mixing bottle in this kit compare to what is in Hach's kit?

A Hagen part number 145300 does come with a Glass Bottle PN 43900 and a measuring tube PN 43800

I am very dissatisfied with the instructions for this fantastic product
3/5

I am very satisfied with the results of the titration. I like it because it's In high school, science was quite interesting, and my kids have the same view. Furthermore, I prefer the electronic device over the paper test strip, which can be out of calibration and break easily, and the electronic devices over the electronic devices that can be difficult to read the exact hardness. It seems like the kit would be big enough to do 100 or more tests with water that is fairly hard. Not the product, but the explanation as to how to use it, is the complaint. They just don't do a good job explaining how you're supposed to use it and what the results are supposed to mean -- like so many other products. A set of instructions such as the following would be useful 1
Make sure the hardness detected in the pipes does not remain in the pipes by running cold tap water for 30 seconds. 3.
To mix, fill the smallest glass tube with food color (100 millimeters, if that's how big it is), then pour each of those parts into Three key points. To use the tiny black spoon, fill it to the top with the purple reagent, then pour it into the mixing bottle, then swish it all together for ten minutes. It takes a few seconds to dissolve. 4
The eyedropper should be poured slowly into the mixture, decreasing in drop size as you go. Swish it after every few drops to ensure that it is well mixed. ** * 6. The drops of pink water it took to turn from pink to blue should be written down. I have 6. You should note A transition from pink to blue may cause it to turn a shade of purple. However, if there are still one or two drops left, it will become a solid blue color. ***Brevet 7 Please note 2 In the event that it only takes 1 It only takes 2 drops of water to make this water turn blue, so this water is already very soft. The results of the study were as follows Hardness is a tough question to answer for me, because I am not an expert. You should be able to do it on Google. Nonetheless, just printing the inscription on the box would be helpful. There's no doubt in my mind that 1 The droplet size is quite small, five drops is quite soft There are 15 moderately hard problems, and then 15 easy problems Water that is a few drops above 30 is hard to drink in America (I think), and it is really hard to drink water above 30 drops.

I can see why this is the best test for my child
5/5

My child was taking on the appearance of one of the Fantastic Four. the scaly and dry skin that is In the moment, I was about to tell my child that he was an individual and could not be grouped with others I told my wife that I was going to embrace kindness regardless of what others might think. My wife, as always, was not supportive of our plans. Please blame the water for the eczema. However, I get told that I have inferior genetics if I imply my wife's eczema is due to her Essentially, we're playing the blame game, and I had to relive all the nightmares I experienced in It is pleasing to find that the Hach5B Test Kit is simple Using the supplied scoop and solution, you scoop purple magic powder into a container containing water. Following that, you use the clear magic solution and count how many drops of that solution are added to your purple magic powder water. The meter turns blue once it reaches that level. There is nothing difficult about it! I was worried it would have an uneven gradient of colors going from purple to blue, and wondered if this thing was going to be accurate at all, but it literally changes from purple to blue in one drop, and I couldn't have made a mistake. There was consistency in the results after I repeated it several times.

It seemed like the best kit to me? With this, I no longer had to deal with inaccurate litmus tests in which I had to guess whether the color I was looking at was below or above the one I was In any case, I bought this test after reading that it was the standard test used by water conditioning professionals
3/5

It turned out that the litmus test was about 50ppm (* 3 grains) and my aquarium hardness test was about the same, but after my first cleaning with the Hach 5-in-1, it showed a negative result. There was never a moment when B turned blue or In the end, I threw in the towel after 60 drops, and my mixing vial was now Having tried this a second time, I ended up giving up after The pH of my water is too low the high dissolved carbon dioxide in the water, so leaving a sample out for an hour produced about twenty drops in blue. In order to resolve the issue, I called HACH customer service and explained the situation It seems to be some sort of interference to them. What do you mean by that? They couldn't answer me, but that doesn't help me much because I have no iron, no manganese, and low nitrates (from a lab test that said everything, except hardness, go figure) They couldn't answer me and that makes no sense. I believe this test does not work with my acidic water, making it useless since I still cannot get a reliable reading on hardness. My pH levels will be retested in the coming weeks after I add a pH neutralizer to my aquarium. I will report back on my findings.
