Questions & Answers
There is no sense in removing the tip of the product since it is designed to test rubber hardness (tires).
I would like to inform you that this product is a Type A hardness tester and does not come with an O-ring An F or a D You can use tipps to type.
In order to get a Shore D tester, I needed one. One of my testers can do only No, the tip is the only thing that comes with this.
The red case in the photo is the one that you are referring to.

The kit was well packaged and offered a good price and I was able to see consistent readings after checking it in multiple tires. Just what I needed without being scared to.
I have been working in industrial rubber and sealing for 25 years, and regularly use calibrated durometers that cost $600 or more. As far as cost, this unit is off by about three hard, so I am extremely pleased with this purchase. Although I would have preferred a little larger foot, that would increase the accuracy of the reading, it is still an excellent deal.
The durometer is nice but it doesn't come with a piece of test material.
A simple and easy-to-use system.
I like it.
Like it a lot for the price.
The software works as expected. I use the same one on my race tires that we use on my more expensive version.
