I do not think it does. We used a plumber who is a water quality expert to test our water first, and then I tested it with a kit I have, with results almost identical to his. I followed his advice on how to treat water at our location (from a well) and it has been a success. Using a spot check machine, I check the pH, hardness, and total dissolved solids of the water every few months.
You can choose from two ranges with this kit From 1 to 1 we perform the low range procedure In the low range there is 20 mg/L (ppm), and in the high range it is It is equivalent to about 17-grains per gallon (GPG) There are 342 mg/L in that fluid. GPG files are used to represent the high range testing results The result would be 17 mg/L, which you would multiply by 14.
In this kit you will find An 125mL flask, a measuring tube, a glass mixing bottle, the Buffer Solution 1, Hardness Solution 2, Hardness Solution 3, instructions, and a blue carrying case are included.
On this kit, the low range test allows you to measure your water in mg/L to get more precise values in low level hardness environments (1 mg/L per drop or 1/17 grams per gallon). In the high range test, you are able to test in GPG, which is the standard most water softeners will require. Every drop equals 1 gpg of hardness in this range. You can't find out how hard your water is from the ranges themselves. A test of your water with one of these ranges is what you must do. Starting with a high range is best and moving to a low range if the water is soft than one gram per gallon or turns colored before the first drop is added.
Once you have your values, you can compare them to your local hardness info or to the softener setting guide to figure out how you want

A very useful test for dealers of water filters because it is easy to perform. A testing program that has two types of testing. We have two water hardness testing bottles one for general water hardness testing (bottle) and one for testing a water softener to make sure it is working properly (beaker). I have 1 gpg key).
It is a proven and accurate product, easy to use, and has stood the test of time. Since I was in high school, I used a Hach program.
Since I use one of these for a while, and it works well, I've been seeking one of these for a while.
This product is excellent, I use it twice a day when I work in an environment where I must manage the water.
The hardness of my well water had been an issue with my water softener and I wanted to check it. For $75 I had to call the local water supply company to check my water hardness. My well water hardness is not known to me so I bought this device to test it for myself. a little more than the price of a company visit, I was able to purchase this to do it myself and use this kit to do over 100 hardness tests. I found it to be a great valve to purchase/purchase. In my case, I purchased this kit since it is the same kit that my water company used when testing If you want to check your own water, this kit is a good choice. The instructions are very clear and easy to follow. There are only four steps to complete. It's impossible to go wrong with this one!.
The product arrived fast and was of good quality.
You will need this only if you are testing for hardness. This kit seems to have a macro/micro feature that I really like. Hardness is relatively low, when the hardness is high, you do not need accuracy, but when the hardness is high, you may need it. It is possible that the three chemicals are given at equal amounts, so that would be the only con. It will be far easier to run out of #1 (micro) or #3 (macro) than it is to This is an easy and obvious method of titration. You don't need a chemistry degree in order to do this job. A test for iron is not included in this kit.
