Questions & Answers

Is it possible to wear these as an adult as well?

In short, yes. There is no size difference between the glasses I bought for adult and child. The glasses are shipped unfolded, and the fold lines can be adjusted to fit that person's face.

On the frame are there markings that indicate the frame is ISO and CE certified?

I do not see anything about CE certification on the game. It says it is ISO certified, but I do not see anything about being Furthermore, they DO NOT come with the certificate shown on the item's However, the frames do not bear the ISO or CE marks, despite the fact that ISO certification is written on them.

These are among the eclipse glasses being recalled by Amazon?

These glasses were purchased as a result of a refund notice I received for previously purchased glasses. A block has been placed on that original item and the seller Given that these were still available, I hope that they have been properly evaluated. It is known that the glasses recalled had (false) certification marks.

What size should I get for an adult?

You should only take them if you are an adult. Due to their ability to be bent to fit, they are also

This is the real deal
5/5

Maybe it was a fake review from the other reviewer? The attached photos can be viewed here. As I saw so many fakes and scams in the news, I got concerned I read some recalls, so I did some research. "*According to the American Astronomical Society" A solar filter can be used to see only the Sun or something comparably bright, such as the Sun reflected in a mirror, the Sun glinting off polished metal, a hot filament in an incandescent light bulb, or a bright halogen light bulb. You can use any LED flashlight, including your smartphone's (and you can use your arc-shaped flashlight) Tungsten torch used in welding. A solar viewer should show all of these sources as quite dim. The Sun appears comfortable bright (like the full Moon), in focus, and surrounded by dark sky with the "Windows to the Sun" and "Safe Solar Filters. ". I ran my own tests, so I did it myself. From my photos, you can see how bright and colorful this kaleidoscope is The glasses completely block out LED light from the work area. When I shield off all the surrounding light, I can just barely make out the The sun was a very comfortable level of brightness shown through those glasses, and presented a very sharp contrast to the dark clouds in the sky. I also tested them in real life. I found them to be quite comfortable to use when viewing the sun in the real world. My photo has been included here after I carefully took it. Here are some more interesting details about viewing time and end date right from NASA Please note The eclipse glasses or viewers you use must meet the ISO 12312 standards If they meet the II safety standard, you may gaze at the partly eclipsed or uneclipsed Sun through them for as long as you desire. Moreover, if the filters do not have scratches, punctures, or tears, they can be reused forever. On some glass and viewer packages, there are warnings stating that you should not look through the glass/viewer for more than 3 minutes at a time and that you should discard the glasses if they have been in storage for more than 3 years. It is outdated and invalid to use such warnings with eclipse viewers that comply with the ISO 12312 specification 2015 saw the adoption of the ISO 2 standard. I hope you find this helpful. Based on these 'checks,' it is safe for the rest of my family to use.

A safe and effective way to protect your kids' eyes
5/5

It is extremely important that these glasses are certified and verified as safe by NASA, if I am going to trust them to protect the eyes of my children. Lunt is one of the companies on NASA's list of solar eclipse glasses that provide this certification. Thank you for your fast shipping and reasonable price.

Review of the first batch of kids sunglasses from lunt
3/5

Those were delivered to me by the post Although the package was folded by the postal carrier, no fold marks were evident, as he was concerned it would damage the glasses. In fact, there should have been a warning on the packaging not to fold these. Had there been a warning, these would have been delivered to a mailbox that could accept package size mail. The glasses were pulled out of the package and observed as follows Please note The lenses on these glasses do not have a silver coating on the outside like those on US-made glasses. It looks as if the lenses have rippled. Observe that the lenses are secure in their slots, and that no signs of tearing, holes or coming loose from the frames are visible*nbsp- I find that these fit my kid's smaller faces so much better than adults'. We have tried them both inside (you see only a small dot of light), regular clear light bulbs (you can see the filament) and outside (since everything is totally dark except for the sun). The real test will be during Due to the folded package and rippled lenses, I gave it a 3 star rating.

There is no comparison between this type/brand and others on the market
5/5

This is the second pair of glasses I bought for my son for the solar eclipse on the 21st. I bought these with another type/brand and they are awesome. When you put them on everything looks completely black, but when you look at the sun it's a bright orange circular glow! my other lense, I found it extremely difficult to see anything, I had to focus intensely just to see a not quite as bright orange sun, and at times I was even unable to My 4 year old can wear these along with adults as well! These are the best quality solar glasses I've ever had! I advise anyone looking for good eclipse glasses to get these!.

I like the glasses, and the packaging is fine
5/5

The last great American eclipse of 2017 prompted me to purchase these. As well as my two kids (10 and 12 years old), my wife and I, too, were very happy with the fit of these shoes. We did find them to be a bit small on the wife and I, but the kids loved them. By passing light through these filters, they tend to obstruct almost all light (as they should) and the sun appears orange. It is our intention to keep them around to watch sun spots and observe the sun. Unless they had been bent (mine weren't), I had no problems with the shipping. They came only in a padded envelope and could easily have been bent. These might get damaged if bent (they are made of cardboard and a light-filtering foil for the lenses) and are dangerous if they are in the wrong position. Rather than using paper to protect lenses, I would have liked to see cardboard used.

Glasses that have been certified to protect you from the sun
4/5

You can wear them too as an adult! The glasses are officially licensed and certified to protect you from a solar eclipse. They were very useful for the eclipse I experienced in August 2017. Since I started wearing these, neither I nor my colleagues have experienced any serious vision problems. Although these are kids' games, they can be used by adults as well. In spite of the fact that I have a rather large head, I was still able to wear In case you are concerned, you can wrap a paper plate shield around the glasses to ensure they are protected. I did this myself. Nevertheless, the most important thing that needs to be noted is that these are certified and real. Due to my late joining the bandwagon, they were quite expensive, but I had bought them close to the eclipse, so I was paying for missing the event.

A light could be seen The next day and everything that follows
5/5

As a result of having purchased and returned some questionable eclipse glasses and then having my baby girls permanently lose their sight and have to take care of them for the next 40+ years, I went with the Lunt glasses which I felt more comfortable using. ) It might have been nice to have a handicap sticker on the car. The kids could still read their homework the next day after we watched the eclipse. Parents are happy, but children are disappointed. The review is written by me, and they aren't, so I give it a 5 out of 5. It might be possible for Lunt to include a handicap parking sticker next time. I just wanted to say.
