any type of dosing pump
No, it doesn't work that way.
My co2 bottle has only recently been cracked open, but I'm having no trouble maintaining the proper ph.
Only when the pH is ABOVE or BELOW your setpoint does it turn on. The native state is set to OFF.

Instead of pulling out the testing kit and taking a sample several times a day, I bought this to make it easier to monitor the PH levels in my hydroponic system. I decided to get a pump to automatically add either ph up or down because it worked so well for monitoring. You can only pick one, but I've discovered that my system prefers to stay below 5. I mostly use ph up to keep it between 6 and 9. 0 and 6. The $80 Milwaukee pump, on the other hand, was not used. I bought a $12 pump and powered it with an old cellphone charger. It's great, and I don't have to make any quick adjustments to keep it in range any longer. I don't have a ph pf 5 when I wake up in the morning. 1 :.
By turning on the co2 for the plants, I can control the ph in my aquarium. This is exactly what I needed and should have purchased a long time ago.
This is what I use to monitor my pH after adding pressurized CO2 to my aquarium. It's a cinch to use. It's a bit pricey for what it does, but it's still very useful.
It works perfectly, but I ordered the incorrect one. Only 5 models are available in this model. 5ph. As a result, make certain that the one you order meets your requirements.
It was easy to set up, and everything is working as expected. The pH readings were consistent with those from other devices, and the switch for turning devices on and off worked as expected. It's used to activate the solenoid on the CO2 rig in my aquarium. I like that the power control outlet is separate from the unit; this allows me to set a timer for either the unit or that separate power plug (so I can time block either when the unit is taking pH readings or when the power control is turned off). I've only had it for a day, but it appears to be a good value for the function it provides.
I used to have an older model of this meter (ugly green and yellow one) that I purchased years ago. It still works, but the new black and green one (rather than the beige one shown here) is far too appealing to pass up. The pH and 4 and 7 screws are on the front of this newer model, making it easier to calibrate. br>br>In my experience, Milwaukee is a trustworthy company.
