Questions & Answers
Without a doubt! You can expect it to go bad pretty quickly if it's not stored wet.
My answer is yes. The calibration should be performed periodically, though. In my opinion, a liquid pH test is deeper and more reliable. I test it against the liquid pH test as well and I find that the results do not match the liquid test. My main interest in this device is to see if the pH has changed. Despite knowing nothing about raspberry pi, I would like to do so.
The BNC probe I use with my apex will work with any bnc device
The manufacturer does not specify, but the device calibrates to the fluid used, so should be accurate enough to be used with any sensor Amercian Marine products have been sold to us for over 20 years and we have never had a problem with them. It's important to keep in mind that a standard grade probe has an average lifespan of 12 years I will be 14 months old in February. It is usually possible to get a long life for lab grade.

My goal in purchasing this was to use them with a raspberry pi grove pi from Seeed Studio to make a controller. I've used this kit with the Seeed Studio pH sensor kit and it works well. With it, you can get accurate readings. It's not my responsibility to comment on the period during which it stays calibrated and the level at which Nonetheless, it seems to be working fine so far. It will work with the Raspberry Pi board, and that is the only important factor.
This is what it looked like after calibration. It works like a charm with Apex. It seems to be an accurate formula and I think it is much better than the arbitrary Apex formula. If it's 35 dollars, you can't lose! (mine might have been defective)
For $35, it's a good deal!
A year after receiving the first, I got another. The caliper was not calibrated so the readings are completely off after calibration. The quality control for this product was poor. It is disappointing for a product I have.
My old Polaris Watermatic C-model needed a new PH sensor, so I went to the local consumer store After looking at the price of the 600 ORP/pH Controller and its general availability around $200, I decided this probe was worth considering. This worked perfectly and I was able to calibrate the controller once again. I had some difficulties getting a good seal on the probe, so it could be a little smaller in diameter. Although it did arrive loose in a cardboard box without any packing material, because of its weight and the 10' of lead, it is unlikely to have moved This procedure was carried out properly, since the tip of the probe was in a vial of solution.
In the past 15 years I have used Pinpoint PH monitors for both saltwater and freshwater aquariums. The probes have always been easy to calibrate and to last. However, the probes from this company are temperamental, and the bulb on the end always seems Two of these have been in my possession for 18 months, and my opinion of them is that They come in a poor package, which makes me think they have been My preference would be to buy my probes directly from American Marine instead of spending more.
I have the monitor and the Guardian monitor, and both needed new probes. if it was replaced?.
For my work in industrial water treatment I am using this electrode with a portable Hanna equipment that has the same universal connector. This device was easy to calibrate, and it provides responses and readings that fall within the parameters. Benefits are good at a low cost. It has been 30 days since I started using it. It is usually a matter of 8-12 days for an electrode to last We guarantee that it will last for 12 months and that you will take good care of it.
Best price on the market. According to me, they need to be replaced at about three years intervals. If accuracy begins to falter after a long period of use, this can be told. When the solution inside becomes ineffective, or, in my last one, it developed a tiny leak which led to algae growing on the sensor, the device becomes ineffective. You cannot expect an instrument of this type to last forever, so it's no big deal.
Three of them are in service. The entire year is spent under water. I feel like it will last three days Then it will have to be replaced in 5 years. It's a good thing they work for me. In order to be sure, I recalebrate every 3 months or so. Usually, they're very close to each other, maybe a few degrees off. You can have a 1 or a We have 2 on the.
