It's been two days since I received this switch, and I should have installed it right away. We installed the switch at our cabin after we got there. Initially it worked for about a week, but then when the tank was full, my compressor wouldn't shut off. There was clearly a defect in the switch, but it was.

Specs of the part are not accurate about the current tolerance and the manufacturer's website is of no help in that matter. After two cycles, the contacts burned. An external mag switch was used to bypass the on and off switch.
