As part of a custom installation in my car, I bought this vacuum switch to regulate a power brake booster vacuum pump. As far as switches of this type go, there are not too many options available A surprisingly poor result It would be great if it did what I wanted it to. The answer is yes in the end. My old vacuum switch never worked properly on my Chevy El Camino power brake vacuum pump. I was using this vacuum switch to regulate the pump.
