It is best to ignore Even though the charger is rated for 220V AC, it could easily be used as a 12VDC charger but some 12Vdc converters will be needed An automobile would be more economical if it had a mechanical switch.

Good to go! We bought this to replace the low pressure switch that came on our Porter Cable compressor from TSC that had been in use for one year

My compressor almost burned out while I was away! My old switch failed and set off my old circuit breaker! It's awesome that Square D has come out with a new one. I had to make a few modifications to the piping to make it work, but it came pre-calibrated for a 30 psi off set, which was fine. Also, there is only a single port, rather than a quad port. I could have easily obtained a quad port but I was stuck with the single port. I was very pleased with the change over. You are correct!.

This is not exactly a new concept

The box was mostly packing tape rather than actual box, although it does not appear to have been previously installed. KO seals were also lacking. A ground screw was missing, and there was no ground screw. As I expected, this is not a new product, but the one I have isn't brand new either. Not happy at all!.

Put this on a brand new Porter Cable 60 gallon upright compressor that suddenly stopped working after only 3 weeks of using

I had to pinch off the small line, but it is a great product. The contacts on this phone are excellent and it works perfectly. Besides the compressor I'm buying, there will be another one as well.
