Is it possible to wash it? Is it suitable for use in a tank? I like Klien tools and have a lot of them. I'd rather buy this than some Chinese junk. ?

CCT isn't measured by this device. It calculates the amount of light in foot candles (FC) and Lux.

It performs admirably

This light meter does a fantastic job. I use the device to assess exterior lighting in areas such as parking lots, sidewalks, and buildings. I can easily use this meter in low-light situations and get the data I need to report readings in foot candles or lumens. This is a purchase that I strongly suggest.

If the head could rotate, I'd keep it. When it's pointed at a source, it's difficult to read.

I bought three in the hopes that they would all read the same number, but as it turns out, they don't. The company should be ashamed of the products they sell.
