This works, so that's good. ** I am a diabetic and wanted to know how my feet were. When the mirror is fully extended the mirror will not hold its position as well as it should because gravity causes the mirror to rotate on the shaft. This does not make it easy to use the mirror at a right angle to the shaft when fully extended. In order to check my left foot, I must use the right hand and to check my right foot, I must use the left hand. In my case, I am ambidextrous, so it's not a big deal for me. If you are one of those people whose ability to use both hands is limited, bear that in mind. It could be longer if the shaft were Since I am six feet tall and have long arms, this rod is just right for me. It is impossible to bend your legs if you are taller or have short arms since you will need to bend your legs a bit to view your feet, which can be very challenging for someone who needs to do this all the time. * The mirror is a good size and has a just enough magnification to see the soles of your feet clearly. It might be blurry if we add more it might not be enough if we reduce it. However, I don't think this was designed to inspect the feet of diabetics, and it would be quite handy when I was younger and started working on my own projects, so I might be a bit harsh in awarding it three stars. All in all, you can inspect your feet for cheap with this. There is nothing wrong with it just.
The fact is. When I first saw the mirror, I was happy with it. At an auto repair shop, I use it to inspect cars. I really like the mirror, it is the perfect size to be able to see everything clearly. It's also good that the extension length is long. However, after using it for quite some time the extension pole started rotating inside itself under the weight of the mirror (IE, I try to twist the handle to have a clearer view in the mirror, but the weight of the mirror makes it revolve Since this makes the extension can be completely unusable when extended, I can now only use it as a handheld mirror (which may have some uses, but is not why I purchased it). I have other inspection mirrors of the same type of design that didn't have the same problem, so I'm It would have been nice if it lasted a little longer than a couple of.
it is fully extended, you can use the mirror portion for inspection and it just swings. We cancelled the remaining portion of the order due to the low quality of the product. There are better options out there for the same price. I should point out that both mirrors in this order were exactly the same.
After moving the mirror, I made sure it was facing the right way. It is impossible to extend the mirror when it does not stay in place. This causes the extension to spin and the mirror to be thrown out of place. It's easy to loosen the adjustable end and if you tighten it, it becomes too It is impossible to find a happy medium. was able to move the mirror over to another handle that works as expected. Since I use this item four days a week for my work throughout the year.
I've owned three inspection mirrors in my lifetime and this is the best. (This is my fifth purchase of this mirror), however with heavy use, the handle breaks away from the mirror due to poorly welded hardware at the back. it is a poor quality spot weld because I am an AWS certified welding inspector and a nuclear engineer. just fine for most normal use. If you break the spot weld, you can simply JB weld it back together.
My diabetic feet need to be checked at night, and this device is the best for that. When I travel, I use this product because it is sturdy, folds down, the mirror is not distorted, and it fits neatly into my suitcase. In the future, I will get another one to use The product is excellent and the seller is great.
I will return it without hesitation.
This tool is perfect for what I needed it to do, which was to see how the birds' nests around my house are doing. This was useful in locating puzzle pieces that were lost behind a baseboard heater as well as for searching for puzzle pieces. For checking some copper pipes in an obscure area of the ceiling/wall, they were difficult to reach. During my search for this tool, I was unsure what it was actually called, so I was pleasantly surprised to find that searching for 'mirror on a stick' brought me exactly what I was looking for.
