The item is useful when checking under the refrigerator, under the ice maker mechanism, or obviously other places where you do not want to get on your knees in order to peek to see if there is something more you need to do. This is a good size and provides a good view * better than the dental mirror I used to use*. I am sure that I will find more uses over time. A drawer can easily be accessed and the device is well made.
