Item was defective when it came out of the My main reason for purchasing this unit is because it is a handy tool to have on hand to handle any repairs

Nevertheless, as soon as I received the unit, I forgot to check it once it was delivered, and when I tried to use it, it did not work. I was very disappointed that they would send a unit with a battery that is already expired.

This is a great tool to diagnose any coil quickly

This is a great way to quickly diagnose any coil, solenoid, or relay problem or even to find the relay that controls the circuit over which it is triggered. However, the only downside is that the batteries cannot be replaced. MD10 is one of the best options because the battery can be replaced. However, both make a good job of fulfilling their intended purpose.

Customer who returns time and time again

This is the first time in 30 years. This was bought to replace one that had been in service since the late 80s. It had finally died because its sealed battery was dead. I find it a good value for a tool that I use more and more!.

The battery can't be replaced, thus making the tool quite handy

Test solenoids with ease using this tool. It should be the tool of every tech. The only thing I would like is for the battery to be replaceable. left one die in my tool back with my fluke meter's magnetic strap when I was going to measure it. A star is deducted because the battery cannot be replaced.

Worked for a while then stopped

It worked perfectly for 3 months until it stopped working. After that, it started working again. I'm not sure why it still lights up if a magnet is passed over it, but it does not when I try testing other things, There is no problem with any of my coils unless all are defective. I doubt that one is bad, since I know only one.

It is an excellent tool for those who perform maintenance

Those who work in maintenance will find this tool very useful! I have already tested a pneumatic valve with it at work. It is useful to troubleshoot pneumatic or hydraulic valves faster.
