6 years of persistent use has resulted in the same flawless performance. The amp 'clamp' I purchased 6 years ago in the UK is my solution to the problems outlined above with my regular amp My sole purpose is to diagnose my car with it. Using this device, you will be able to get a closer look at the wiring of the PCB. A standard amp clamp will only access the earth conductor of the battery and little else because of the bulk of the clamp. There is no better range than that of the Kyoritsu. There are clamps that can handle 400 Amps or less in the lower range! The only way to evaluate starter motor draw is with this instrument. How long has it been since you've needed to do that? * These days, we are measuring very low current and very low amps. The vehicle has been disconnected for a wide variety of reasons, such as a parastic drain, fuel pump draw, etc. This tool has been used several times a day outside in the rain and freezing temperatures since I work for an online company that deals with breakdowns. In this time, it has worked perfectly and has proved to be accurate and consistent. If the current is between one amp and two amps, then it is 100% accurate. Despite multiple attempts to force the jaws over cables too large for the jaws, I've never seen them crack or break. Among its many outstanding features are
