It is one of the best RMS everyday Heavy Duty meters you can buy for the money! It's amps and voltages at the same time! Magnets are also attracted to them.

My colleagues highly recommended the meter, so I bought it late last summer. I began experiencing issues with the voltage reading the moment temps started to get colder here in NH. The majority of my day is spent on a roof since I am an HVAC technician. If I test my meter cold it will read a wrong voltage or no voltage, but if I test when it's warm it will read correctly. UEI told me the meter is only able to operate as low as 32 degrees when I reached out to them directly. From the six guys at our shop with the same meter, I said mine was the only one who performed this function. In order to test the meter They said it was 50 degrees so I sent it in for service. They said there is nothing wrong with the meter and to keep it warm. Now that I have a new meter and it only works in the summer, I'm back to the fluke I've been using for 12 years until I get a new one.
want this meter in my home! A meter without a magnet built into the back will never do for me. I am a sparky so I don't necessarily need the dual reading screen, but as a tool I do find it useful occasionally.
Most of all I enjoy the auto range detector and continuity tone, which are useful features. It is also a good idea to have a voltage detector. I wish there were a way to test capacitors 'on-site' It may be possible to create a 'circuit', but I doubt most meters can do that.
Those meters are awesome. It is my second one due to the theft of the first one. Over a decade ago, I bought my first one, and it worked perfectly. This is something I strongly recommend.
