Do both ac current and DC current can be measured by the clamp?

The answer is yes. It is a tool I use on a daily basis because I work for a major Powersports company. This is a very good tool when compared to a Fluke DMM. So far, I have not had any problems with them, and several of my coworkers have also bought them.

It is easy to use and easy to Its accuracy has been tested against those of other meters, and it is spot This is a must if you want to work with high-amperage accessories on your vehicle or if you want to install a solar array on your roof. Having DC Amps on hand when diagnosing solar panels is a must

My solar panel circuit tester paid for itself with a single diagnostic test. By testing the three positive and three negative leads in a junction box nearest the inverter, I discovered which string of panels was open circuit. After that, I was surprised to hear crackling when I twisted the wire nut on the one with 0 amps. We retested and found that current is now 7 again. A power supply with eight I will wait until dark and wear rubber gloves to replace the bad wire nut since there is no way to turn off the solar array. If you do not have the capability to measure DC current in a non-contact environment, you cannot perform this type of diagnostic test In an invasive manner. In addition, the voltage at the inverter was normal, so I couldn't determine which wire was the problem until I switched to a DC amp meter. As part of the The 1000 has never been a novelty to me, and I have only used it to test car batteries, alternators, and the like. But now I have the application for which no other option.
