Questions & Answers

Would it be possible to get a CSV file of the In other words, what is the sampling rate? Is there a limit to the number of samples taken ?

Meters are connected to the internet via Wi-Fi An app called Fluke Connect, which is found in the Apple App Store, can be used to connect a device, such as an iPhone, an iPad, via Wi-Fi. You can obtain the app from the iTunes Within the Fluke Connect application, you can set various sampling rates and record times. If you download it to print out, you can view the information directly on your device or read it directly on your screen. It collects a lot of info, but you are limited only by how much storage space is available on your device. The meter does not have any storage.

Unless a smartphone is connected to it, how much traffic can it log internally? Do I have the option of exporting the log data into a file using the app for free?

I don't know what the logging capacity is, but you can log data to your cell phone for free and then send it to an email account

Do the flexible current probes come with the iFlex?

Despite the fact that it plugs into the 375, it is not You have to buy the 376 if you wish to keep the Iflex.

With this meter, can I clamp a wire as large as 12 inches?

Although I have clamped up through (1) 600 MM without issue, if you have to clamp over parallel conductors, I am not certain how exactly it works, but I have clamped (2) parallel 4/0's just below the lug before.

A solid foundation
5/5

In the year since I purchased one of these two more have been purchased Fluke Connect gives me an app that lets me combine them and monitor three phase to a greater degree. It is a common practice for me as a service engineer to use meters like these. Despite being used in a harsh manufacturing environment, they are extremely durable. An AC current sampler that is capable of sampling a motor's current You should measure DC current on an induction motor, then turn around and measure it on another one. As well as a quick and easy way of measuring inrush current. They are consistently used as are all my Fluke meters, with the confidence that they will perform without fail time and time again. Product of very high quality.

The meter is good, but the connect function is Despite the connect portion being outside of the meter, it's a nice meter
3/5

It is incredibly useful when trying to find a circuit breaker that is unmarked however it is limited to fifteen feet line of sight, add a wall or turn around so your back is against the meter and you can easily For $400+ dollars, I would expect a blue tooth range at least comparable to the $60 3m work tunes ear muffs, but the range from the meter when it drops off the phone is about what you can read the display even at 300 feet. It was originally going to be sent back, but I decided to keep it for the logging functionality, since you get only 10 minutes to log, then you are shut down, then your app locks up so you can't get access to your logs.

FlukeConnect is the bomb - well made, accurate, and the app could not be happier I dig it
5/5

I'm absolutely amazed at this thing. It has been used for measuring voltages, amperages, and electrical current both in AC and in DC, and I suppose that is what one might do with this kind of instrument. Despite this, I would definitely recommend the meter as it is more accurate and functional than any other meter I have I really thought FlukeConnect would be a gimmick which is not practical, but you can practically walk into another room and operate what you need. For example, you can turn off a circuit by carrying your phone into another room with the panel attached to it. In addition to taking screenshots and logging, the app also lets you share them with others.

An electronic meter that uses solid state technology for power companies The logging isn't as good as it could be Electronics shouldn't be used in this
4/5

An electronic meter that uses solid state technology for power companies The logging isn't as good as it could be Currently, this measurement is not suitable for electronics due to the resolution / range of amps and volts

You should also be aware that the logging of data is limited to Averaging 4 samples per second, it takes 4 samples every The software allows free logging and exporting, but some other features will expire after a year if you do not renew them. Having the ability to monitor your meter remotely is pretty awesome, since you can shut down the power when you need to You can monitor remotely after you energize, hook up, and connect your meter. I don't consider data logging to be an exciting feature since it is only about 10 minutes long and you need to keep your phone within Bluetooth range the whole time. However, the software works, but I am concerned about its compatibility. A true all-around meter should also include 0 mA as the maximum amp resolution if you're looking for a meter that does it all. is available and a maximum voltage resolution of 0 is available. The mV option is available along with the 1V From the videos I've seen with controlled measurements, the accuracy appears to be quite good, but since it's listed at 2% +/-, I would not recommend it for use at home. Those five digits indicate that a reading of an amp can be off by half an amp, and a reading of volts can be off by half a volt. Don't let it get to you, For power work, this should be adequate accuracy and precision, but this must be taken into consideration. Your bench meter for electronics will not be replaced by this.

This is an awesome I received meter leads that were crap
5/5

This meter has many options that I find very useful. A hard case was purchased separately out of concern for my safety. I believe it would be better for the meter if it were in a more protective bag. The meter leads are cheap crappy types that stiffen up in the cold, as well. It would be nice if they sent the I wonder how much it would cost if it didn't already cost that much. In order to buy quality fluke meter leads, I immediately went back online after I received my meter.

This is an awesome What an awesome thing this is
5/5

While it is simple to take regular measurements, what makes it stand out is its ability to connect with your phone using Bluetooth. You can easily set up the Fluke app to record data and walk away while the meter records. You can then download all collected data a week later using your smartphone. You can view the data on your phone or via email as a graph and as Excel spreadsheets for analysis. A complaint I have is that the amount of voltage and current measured is only 1/10th of a volt and If it were like my last meter, it would go to the 1/100th.

The display has a small field of view, and the wifi connection is fast - It is possible
4/5

The thing you get when you buy this is probably already known to you. would like to add that the wifi connection is very fast. Setup takes about two seconds when you push the button on the device, open the app, and you get readings almost immediately. Despite its small screen, the display is difficult to read from an angle and is quite small.

I love it! For current functions the results are perfect, for other functions they are average
5/5

The idea of having a meter and getting current readings all in one is appealing to me. A transformer cable hoop like the iFlex is an amazing solution for tight spaces with large transformer cables. There is only one problem, which is the fact that the accuracy and functionality are limited while this is designed primarily to handle The meter has a specific purpose, as do any other meters. To get more precise measurements, accuracy, functionality, and troubleshooting, you should get either a 117 or an.
