Originally purchased to test capacitors but meter never showed microfarad value when it should have. It took me a while to realize the leads had to be pushed into the meter really hard, but without that constant pressure they won't work. This is a nice, small device that accomplishes both tasks well. In all fairness, it seems to be quite high quality and I hope it will be of use to me for quite some time. I remember my now retired Vici VC99 not being a clamp meter and I managed to get around 7 volts off on a 120 volt a/c voltage test and 7 degrees off a near freezing water test. Can't find any method for calibrating it?.

I have stopped reading the While checking a 120 volt appliance, I observed that my other two meters were reading 121 VAC, but this meter merely read 3 V I have tested it on a few 115 volt outlets and on a number of other appliances, the meter is not working. There were no defects in the test leads, but there were defects in the meter itself. The product did not work out of the box, so this review would be different if it had worked and then broken. I find it very frustrating, a sign of poorly controlled quality.

The company's nbsp I found the software to be easy to use and all functions worked. Having not used it for a significant period of time, it appears to be true to its specifications from my initial trial run. The instruction booklet is in English. Made in Malaysia. To make it more visible, I stuck a sliver of white sticker on the notch. A 4000 ohm resistance and 100 microF measurement ranges are all that is available. It's a thumbs up from me!.

The only thing that even remotely bothered me was the length of the lead, they were well over 4 feet long. They were swapped for leads from my old Klein model with 2 feet of lead. It seems silly, but I'm annoyed by the way we wrap 4 feet of lead every time. This video camera is incredibly lightweight and comes with batteries included, so you can start using it immediately.
