One individual commented that you cannot measure DC current with a clamp this meter measures AC current only, but there are clamps that measure DC current they are considerably more expensive, but I own one and I have used it on 12Volt DC systems (cars) and it works well.
As I checked my Fluke, it does not mention the country where the item was manufactured. Therefore, the item I am thinking of is most likely from
In the Fluke 324, temperature is measured by a thermocouple over contact.
A 325 will only go down to 14 degrees F, and the meter is not offset adjustable. The calibration procedures we publish are available for our customers if they have access to a metrology lab. A drywell calibrator is typically used to verify probes.

This is exactly what should be done. Here is a great little multi-tool that will serve you well for a long time A meter to measure all kinds of things. Please note - *Measures up to 400 A (AC only) - A pair of test leads and a temperature probe are included. - Measures capacitance, temperature, voltage, amperage (AC only) and continuity (resistance)* - An LCD display with a nice backlight is an added benefit, and the meter is more compact than most Fluke clamp meters, but is definitely worth the price. I find the meter to be an advantage since I need a compact meter that I can carry with me when troubleshooting panels, motors, etc. , but it does not occupy a lot of space It's easy to read and nice, clear, and clear LCD display. View the screen without looking at it from the top The display must be turned on to read the numbers clearly, but as with any kind of display (TV, computer, etc. ), if you change the viewing angle too much, you will have trouble seeing the display. There is a light click at the detents for each measurement, and the wheel turns smoothly and smoothly this makes it easy to select the correct measurement. As a result, the clamp is easy to open, is strong, and has lines on the clamp face that indicate the exact location of where the wire should be inserted These test leads are approximately 10 feet The following are the numbers 5 and 6 ), and are extremely In my experience, they stay in place quite well and snap tightly into the meter. As well as fitting nicely and staying put during use, the temperature probe does not slide out or come loose. Besides being quick and accurate, the readings are also fast This is just what you'd expect.
All in all, it was just a fluke. During my career, I have used Fluke, Ideal, Greenlee, and many others, all of which were good or adequate for some tasks, although the Fluke I've used was extremely reliable, accurate, and durable, which had resulted in its becoming Anyone who's interested in this meter should definitely consider purchasing it.
My case would have been hit with 480v if I hadn't used Even though I was fairly positive the panel was dead, my coworkers were too, so I decided to verify it anyway. A 480V signal.
Originally purchased to test capacitors but meter never showed microfarad value when it should have. It took me a while to realize the leads had to be pushed into the meter really hard, but without that constant pressure they won't work. When the probes were removed from the terminals and then put back in right away, I still had to push hard again to read above zero each time the probes were removed from the terminals and immediately replaced. My guess is that it has to do with our internal connections, so I don't think it's an issue with leads. Leads are not secured when they are inserted and there is no clicking sound made. I had to return the meter since I couldn't rely on There seems to be an inconsistency in the lead connection on the bottom of the meter instead of on the face. Additionally, the dial should have a black mark so the user can easily identify the test with which it points. Aside from that, I have read all of the manuals for the Fluke model 324 on the Fluke website and none provide enough guidance on how to use the tester. In my initial contact with Fluke, they directed me to more detailed instructions on the Internet. A fluke occurs. This is a nice, small device that accomplishes both tasks well. In all fairness, it seems to be quite high quality and I hope it will be of use to me for quite some time. I remember my now retired Vici VC99 not being a clamp meter and I managed to get around 7 volts off on a 120 volt a/c voltage test and 7 degrees off a near freezing water test. Can't find any method for calibrating it?.
I have stopped reading the While checking a 120 volt appliance, I observed that my other two meters were reading 121 VAC, but this meter merely read 3 V I have tested it on a few 115 volt outlets and on a number of other appliances, the meter is not working. There were no defects in the test leads, but there were defects in the meter itself. The product did not work out of the box, so this review would be different if it had worked and then broken. I find it very frustrating, a sign of poorly controlled quality.
The company's nbsp I found the software to be easy to use and all functions worked. Having not used it for a significant period of time, it appears to be true to its specifications from my initial trial run. The instruction booklet is in English. Made in Malaysia. To make it more visible, I stuck a sliver of white sticker on the notch. A 4000 ohm resistance and 100 microF measurement ranges are all that is available. It's a thumbs up from me!.
This is an isolated event Are there any other comments I should make? My goal in purchasing this was to troubleshoot my AC unit, and it is designed to do so. It's a nice feature that the K thermocouple is available as well. It measures the capacitance of a given zero. Range from 1000 uF to 2000 uF (generally good for big AC capacitors). This kit includes the case, the meter, the thermocouple, and standard.
The only thing that even remotely bothered me was the length of the lead, they were well over 4 feet long. They were swapped for leads from my old Klein model with 2 feet of lead. It seems silly, but I'm annoyed by the way we wrap 4 feet of lead every time. This video camera is incredibly lightweight and comes with batteries included, so you can start using it immediately.
