A wire tracer locates and traces energized and non-energized wires, breakers and neutrals, as well as ground faults and shorts to determine what needs to be fixed

Signals from energized or non-energized transmitters can be read by the R-2000 receiver

With the T-2200 transmitter, you can detect electrical connections from 9 to 300 volts AC or DC on non-energized systems, and the S-2600-A transmitter traces ground connections from 9 to 300 volts AC or DC

An attachment that transmits without contacting the host injects signal

Up to 13 feet deep, the receiver can locate energized wires buried behind walls or buried buried under floors

Do you know if this tracer is compatible with a pipe transmitter?

At this time, Amprobe doesn't have a pipe transmitter compatible with the AT-. I have never seen The 2000 Series before.

There's no point in bothering

As a means of generating income. As much as I could have hoped for. I was able to pick up the signal even on my other circuits, even another phase of the circuit, when I hooked it up to a dead circuit. It is likely that the plane is returning through ground.

This product came in two testers and I have used both of them

There are two testers that I own, and neither of them came with instruction stickers on the inside of the It has been many times that I have tried to contact the factory (Ambrobe / Fluke, customer service) to obtain replacement stickers but have received nothing in return. No one ever gets back to me after they say they would. This has been going on for months now. There does not seem to be any concern for the situation.

1998 was the year I purchased the tracer. It took me a while to figure out how to use it, so I followed the instructions carefully. Using the unit, we have been able to locate shorts and open circuits more efficiently. When you are looking for circuit breakers, you have to hold the receiver a certain way. A natural body of water (ponds or lakes) can also cause an echo if the ground area is close to it. When the ground is dry, it performs best. It has always been an excellent tool for me since I have had it for many years. As well as finding breaker panels and the location of underground faults, I have used it to track wiring in panels and trace faults in the ground.
