Selected User Reviews For Starrett T444.1XRL-1 Outside Micrometer .0001” Grad,
All of Starrett's efforts over these years have gone to building an excellent brand and then selling it The calibration tag arrived on the unit, but it does not land at It is up to me whether to return it. Sorry for the disappointment!.
My favorite part of this tool is how it feels. and with only a little resistance so it doesn't jam itself against the part I'm measuring as it makes contact with it. I still frequently wipe my Micrometer down since it tends to get dirty if you don't clean it often enough. Starrett is very good to work with.
also love Starrett, but Mitutoyo mics appeal to me because they have the cam lock that lasts for a very long time.
This product works great, the rough texture provides good traction if you have to work in an oily environment.
This was purchased for use in a vocational machinist program and everything seems to be working as it should. Upon receiving the tool there was a loose screw holding the plastic shielding on it, but it did not affect the tool in any way shape or form all it needed was to be screwed back in and I haven't had any issues Were it lost or stolen, it would break or get lost. It is a product I would purchase again without a second thought.

There is a five gage block and a piece of It was an unusable mic due to the build up under 6257. The Starrett brand is all I can say for that. You can tell by just holding it. It has a nice weight, the rachet stops work great, and overall it feels well-made. Despite its price, I consider it to be well worth it.
I use it a lot. There is no doubt that Starrett is the best. I am in love with.
