Can you store these in a case if this comes with one?

The case stores everything in a hard shell. The inner surface is not padded with foam, but with just a plastic mold to prevent things from bumping against each other.

The mics in this set do not measure 4" deep

They are fine with me, but I cannot use the 4" base. I have a short 2 1/2" base and can work around it. If you order these, be aware that you will not get the larger base.
