What is the vernier scale like on this?

Mics such as these can only read A thousandth (1 thousandth), not to. A tenth (0001) is one thousand one.

Do we have Japan or Brazil here?

It is impossible to say that this tool possesses. If the resolution is only three decimal places, then how can the accuracy be as good as 0.0001"?

There is no way to read in tenths on this mic. Precision Mics/calipers from Mitutoyo are very good. I've used them repeatedly for almost 50 years now.

Can you tell me what color enamel paint you used?

See the picture for more information. It's black and teal, but I'm not sure what it is.

One of those items was a micrometer. As I was looking at what was being used by the other guys, Mitutoyo was nearly always being used. As I discovered Mitutoyo products in Amazon, I read mostly stellar reviews about them. The material and finish are gorgeous, and the feel is great in my hand. They have a little bit of weight to them, which I like, and the finish is quite durable as well. Although I haven't worked in the trade for very long, I can certainly tell a good product when I see it, and this product is definitely good! It would be impossible for me to recommend Mitutoyo highly enough if you need a micrometer!.

It is worth every penny to buy this micrometer! For my first time using a micrometer, I have to say that this one is just as accurate as it is easy to operate

You will find instructions (in six languages. albeit a bit "English as a second language" by the techs. Those who write. I am extremely impressed with the craftsmanship and the overall quality of this product. If you were to purchase one of these for that price, I doubt you could buy a superior micrometer and, for my home hobby uses, I do not think a tool of supposedly higher quality would be of much use to me. We are confident that you will not.

This is a very good micrometer to have in an environment where precision measurements are necessary

It's very useful to have these micrometers at work and at school where precision measurements are essential. I use them in the machine shop at work and at school, and they work well. With a hard plastic case and an adjustment tool, this tool can be set to "Zero". These are very good at their price point.
