It recommends the 905338 (straight, no button) cable on the Mitutoyo website. In addition to the on/off button, is there a data send button when you are not holding it?

To send data you will need to buy the cable with the data send button. There is no data exchange between the on/off button and the computer.

The five-star rating is what you get when you cross your fingers and pray you don't get struck by lightning, but know you can send it back if you do. There is already a 543- I own already It is a 783 lug back. I purchased it new and paid considerably more than I paid for it. Even though everything in the box had been opened and used, and the unit wasn't folded correctly, the Used unit from Amazon arrived with everything in the box. There was dirt on the buttons of the unit, but it itself wasn't dirty It was easy to clean up the buttons. I ran a test across 100 pieces using my existing 783 in the spot where the new 783 would be installed. Using the 783 as a test bed, run the same test. A normal variation was the only difference. A few times a year, 0005 will appear. About two months later, I went to the northern coast of the United States You do not need to worry about the pieces between the two indicators.
