Is there a way to mount it on the back of this?

It is true. You can attach it to any mechanical dial indicator gauge by means of a lug nut.

How will this be connected to the internet? Does it come with a USB cable and a data cable?

It is possible to connect via USB to iGaging's USB cable, but there are no USB cables. My iMaging searches have turned up the image. A nice feature of these products is that they are of good quality but at a reasonable price.

When the indicator point is raised and lowered from the top of the indicator, how far does that move?

Since the top is sealed, the IP54 rating cannot be exceeded. So, from the top you can't access the shaft. There is an attachment on the indicator that will make it possible for you to lift the probe without touching it.

The display is easy to read and has a 2" travel. With up to 8 channels of wireless communication, it can transmit data remotely at the touch of a button via the separate SPC USB cable.

My last one got lost in the mail. The item was nonfunctional when it was delivered. In some cases, the data displayed is incorrect (numbers are jumping from one line to another). I asked for the return of my money It has not been responded to by It is strongly recommended that you don't order.

I like how it looks and how it works. I'm happy with how the measurements came out. We called in to iGaing service and were told that the data output kit would work with this indicator, as well as all other iGaing My next step is to try it out.
