This divider was purchased to lay out stones on eternity rings and to mark concentric lines for ring bands. I was worried that because of the low price, the quality would be poor. It's a fantastic divider in general. br>br>The only issue I had was that my points weren't perfectly aligned, but that was easily fixed with a file and polish. br>br>And the depth screw can be finicky at times, which can be easily fixed with a little 3in1 oil. br>br>I was planning on purchasing a set of sterrett dividers but decided to give these a try because of the low price. I'm glad I did. br>br>It's something I'd suggest.
I use this to cut HDPE (High Density Polyethylene) into circles, as well as to make circles out of other materials. br>There's also the'measure and mark' method, in which I determine the distance between the points. br>After that, I place one point against the edge. dragged the other one across the floor br>It's a good way to figure out how much something costs. I bought this one because it hadn't arrived yet.
Appropriate for the task at hand. The points could have been sharpened a little more. 4 3/4" in total length. I'll be using it to mark dovetail layouts, and the price is reasonable for the quality.
It's a good investment.
