What do you think the leg spacing's margin of error is? Do they wiggle away from each other for longer than a 64th - What is a 32nd of an inch, exactly?

Once set, they don't wiggle in the least. A video of the spacing can be found attached. Because parallax is relatively larger even over this short span, specifying the precision of the variatrionsa is difficult.

Perspective drawing is something that has piqued my interest. This divider is going to be extremely beneficial. It's extremely precise and considerably less expensive than the alternatives I considered. It's a great addition to my drawing toolkit because it's light, strong, and accurate.

For traditional artists, this is ideal

This is what I'm using for traditional drawing, and I think it was a good investment. Unlike a $20 divider I bought, it isn't loose and stays put when you spread the dividers apart and bring them back together. It's the real deal, and it came with a small case to keep it in.
