I have no idea. I wouldn't go above 15 pounds, though. Depending on the type of pegboard used, it could be significantly higher. Pressboard is what I use.

I would have expected a little more for the money I paid. Because the holes don't line up with standard pegboard, I tried to bend it to fit, but it only made the shelf flex and look bad. I wouldn't recommend it; it appears that some people have had success with them, but the majority do not. On Amazon, however, there do not appear to be any alternatives.
It may be suitable for slatwall or other applications, but it will not fit standard pegboard as claimed. At least 1/2" is missing from the holes. Also, it's a bit of a shambles.
For light duty, the shelves are adequate. Because they couldn't handle a lot of weight, I had to change my strategy for how I used them. They're mounted on pegboard in my craft room, and I wanted to use them to hang my fabric cutting dies. Two or three tops would fit on the shelf.
They're simple to put on and hold up well. The gaps are a little wide, but overall I like them. Thank you.
These are ideal for items that are light in weight. They're at the very top of my pegboard, facing the ceiling, where I keep empty product boxes. Only use for light weight on standard MDF pegboard. These should not be overloaded, even on a metal pegboard. It's ideal for small items that take up a lot of shelf space. Yes, they are slightly angled back against the wall. br>br> As a result, the items on the shelf "lean" against the wall, shifting the weight from the shelf to the wall. To put it another way, it's by design. br>br>On my pegboard, the pegs line up perfectly, so I'm not sure what the droolers are talking about.
The description states that it works with 1/4" pegboard, but it does not lay at a 90 degree angle to the wall. The front is slightly higher than the back by about an inch. I would not use this service again.
Because of the good design, shelves can hold surprisingly heavy loads. Without the use of additional pegboard anchors, they stay in place quite well.
Because of the design, they have a slight upward tilt. The shelf is actually very well constructed. The shelf does not sit level once it has been inserted into the pegboard. It has a slight upward tilt, causing anything on the shelf to slide backwards. The back of the shelf should be examined by the manufacturer. The shelf would sit level if the one piece coming down the back was removed or changed significantly.
