Is there a temperature range that you can work with? What is the compressive psi of this material before it becomes fatigued?

In a hot environment, I will not use these plastics. The pressure from a magnetic chuck on a surface grinder isn't strong enough to harm them.

Hello, can anyone tell me what type of plastic shim stock this is? such as pvc or pp?

It specifies that the material is of high quality. It doesn't go any further. I'm a tool, and I'm not afraid to admit it. Stay in the grinding room and use the die maker's creations; they're fantastic.

Is it possible to bend/fold this material into a desired shape without it breaking or tearing?

Yes, for the most part. If you fold a thicker shim in half, it's more likely to break.

What is the maximum temperature that this shim material can withstand?

I'm sorry, but I don't know. Mine is used in the vacuum E- No problem with 03Torr.

Stickers on each size may or may not have dents and chips in the middle of the arrangement, and unfortunately does not include the clear "thickest" shim. br>I'd return it, but we're stuck with it, as well as the high price. br>avoid the shim stock sold here and instead buy from McMasterCarr.

I found a lot of shim material at a reasonable price and used it to make shim kits for six engineers. The material has a tolerance of 0. 001" - Works great with 002" of the specified thickness!.
