A car painting project I was working on required the use of plastic film. The product was just fine, and though I wasted some, I probably only used half of the box, only a bit more. Because it is really thin, it is not reusable, which is alright, but it is not as durable as higher-quality products. It will have to be thrown away after the first time you pull it off. Our white carpet was not stained at all by any of the red paint that we used to paint our ceilings and walls in our house. It's a little hard to manage it all and spread it As you can see from the photo, it is so thin and light that air pockets get trapped underneath it, but it didn't tear even when step ladders were placed on top of it. In the summer of last year, we bought our house. One half dozen painting projects were completed from the first box we sorted through. Because there is still a few work to do, I am going to purchase another box. This book is very thin, as others have said, but don't let that stop you from buying it. Your hardwood floors and carpet will be protected as long as you double up the plastic on high traffic areas. You might think that thin plastic is not very durable, but it holds up well.

I've never known there was a better way to do anything. This sheet is lightweight, easy to attach with painter's tape, makes clean up a much less bothersome task, and keeps the dust where it belongs in the workspace. I'm going to store a roll of this stuff in the storage closet, just in case I decide to paint anything in the future. Doing it yourself around the house is a must if you do it yourself.

I think it is safe to say that the average person is not familiar enough with plastic film to know exactly how thick it is. The number is 35 mil. This is what I will tell you There's not much substance in it. It's sort of like saran wrap or kitchen cling wrap except that it doesn't It would have been nice if it were thicker, but since it was so cheap and there was enough for two layers, it was still a good buy. I find it kind of aggravating - It's not ideal, but if you're on a budget it's a good choice.
