The lines are neither straight nor straight, but with a little work, they will be fine

There are no true rods nor are they straight. The warning has been given to you. It appears they are all close, but they've all run out of near. On May 5- There is a difference of 07 inches between the two ends. Those tolerances should be within your reach as long as you stay within them. To find a rod that is straight and true, you may have to look elsewhere or you may have to fiddle with it and use.

I found this to be great! I use them as stakes to display the stained glass garden pieces I've created

As solder does not stick to them well (at least the unleaded solder that I use does not), I find it helps to apply copper foil to the areas where the solder needs to be adhered.
