Questions & Answers
It is quite heavy to work with steel rods. The rod would swing slowly if it were the size of a cane.
9/16 of an inch in diameter and 12 inches in length was the piece I bought. It might hold 80 to 100 lbs or more if it is supported at both ends and the weight is hung in the middle. It probably would be less if different methods of support were used.

The exact product I'm My lawn cart was converted into a Dulles and I needed a longer axel to make that possible. This is one inch. I found that a sheet measuring 48 X 24 in long was perfect It did not need to be cut. There was only one thing needed to be done - drill holes for cotter pins When I used my drill press, the drill bit went right through it. Thank you. I am very happy.
