I'm sure it says so somewhere, but my 1 pound bar and coins don't look anything like the ones in the picture. Dinosaurs are depicted on my coins. Dinosaurs, for example.
I did not receive what is shown in the picture, and there is no indication that the bar and rounds will have different embossing. The bar is the periodic table's element symbol, and it is identical to the "paper weight" bar sold by other sellers, but it is not what is pictured. None of the five rounds I received were embossed in the way they were pictured. They were all stuffed into a bag together, with no way of knowing who was who. So, needless to say, they're marked all over the edges and have scuffs on the high-polish areas, and none of them were the same; each one was unique. The bait and switch method used here is terrible, and I am extremely disappointed! They should fix this and make it right, because I'm not going to buy anything else until they contact me to fix the garbage they sold me and give me what I paid for.
For the 1 pound bar, I got the paper weight model that was sold on various sites. The bars in all of the images are stamped, which isn't what I ordered. The one I got was a paperweight with different dimensions than the one I ordered, and it wasn't Reedersong stamped. This is the incorrect bar; however, I have two additional orders for this product, which I'm not sure if I should cancel because I don't want the same cheap-looking periodic table bar. br>br>I'm returning the one I got today because it's not what I ordered and it's not the right bar. This was supposed to be a Christmas present, and I was very disappointed.
Unfortunately, you will not receive what is shown! Actual coin lookalikes can be seen in the item's picture. It's like a copper version of a walking liberty dollar coin. I figured this would be similar to the coins you can get from a variety of places. Nope! I received a one-pound bar carved in the shape of the United States, rather than the image of a coin as shown. I'm also not interested in the one-ounce copper rounds. I was hoping for a coin that resembled a real coin once more. A coin with an old dinosaur on it, a zodiac sign (Libra), and a few other junk copper rounds were among the items I received. 1 ounce blanks would have been preferable! I'm sorry, but I won't be able to give these as gifts! Regardless, this is not a good place to spend your money. Order item-specific copper rounds that are identical to someone else's original design. On Amazon, there are several companies to choose from, as well as a slew of others on the internet.
The package arrived in good condition and on time. The coins aren't of high quality, but they'll suffice for a starter collection or as bullion. The copper flat one-pound bar is not polished to a high shine like those offered by other mints; it's fine for what it is, but it's way overpriced for the value of copper.
Copper is currently selling for $2, which is far too expensive. 93 cents per pound is ridiculous.
its a Lb. copper is the metal For a cut piece of bar, it was overpriced, but that's Amazon for you. In order to compensate for their fees, people must overcharge. Although it was possible to find it for less elsewhere, the two-day shipping made it more convenient.
Despite the fact that the product took a long time to arrive, it was well worth the wait. Good job on the coins; I wish all of the other coins looked like the wheat penny, but overall, it's a great job.
