For scale models, this is fantastic

The strands within these carbon fiber rods do not run the full length; therefore, they are ideal for railings, antennas, and other applications. Nonetheless, they're more than adaptable enough for a scale model builder's needs. In my experience, dimensional accuracy varies a lot. 9 +/- 1 mm (. /- "0354" /- "0354" /- "03 0039”).

a fishing pole that has been repaired Repaired a graphite fishing pole with one of the tubes. I chose the rod size that would fit into the broken pole tube, epoxied both sides, and slid it into place. You can't even tell where the break is apart from a little glue.

The measurements are off

The rods I ordered had a diameter of 1mm, but the ones I received had a diameter of 0. 7 to 0. A diameter of 8 inches I couldn't use it because it was too small for my project!.

It's simple to break

These carbon rods aren't in any way structural. They break with a slight bend and are very easy to break. I was hoping for a thick, pultruded rod. br>I'm let down.
