I have a curved area that needs to be covered. Is it possible for these guys to improvise a bit?

It is stiff and can bend a little. You could try a thinner peace depending on how much it needs to bend.

Is it true that fiberglass will stick to this? I need to make a small ledge for a bilge pump and float switch to be mounted on. ?

This is also made of fiberglass. Circuit boards are the most common application. You only need to scuff it up a little to get your glass to stick to it. If the item you want to mount on it is particularly heavy, you could combine two pieces of glass. Get some 1/8 or 062 thickness. The stuff is 125 thick. This will be able to support a little more weight.

For measuring, I require a very flat plate. What is the flatness of the 4mm sheets?

Very flat

Is there a white or off-white version available? Is it possible to paint it white?

It can be painted, but depending on how you use the fiberglass sheet (high heat, exposure to water or chemicals, impact from debris, etc.) you may need to use specific paints.

Don't squander your time; buy from a reputable source instead. In my line of work, I use fiberglass sheets on a daily basis for knife making, and this is by far the worst product I've ever seen. Because the fiberglass is not properly bonded, I would never use it on any of my products.

It was scratched and dingy when it arrived

Several scratches and dings were present on the G10 sheet when it arrived. I'm not sure if it'll work for my needs. This was confirmed by other reviewers.
