For my application, it's not the best.   This is carbon that is in good shape. It isn't perfect, but it is acceptable. Here are some of the things I noticed. Here's what you'll see in the photos. This isn't a very clean mill. On both the high-quality carbon and this carbon, I used the same CNC mill and bit. Frays or chips were visible on all edges of this carbon. It didn't make a clean cut. It also isn't entirely matte. On the right, you'll find my HQ matte carbon. The finish on this is a light satin. br>br>Overall, I'd buy it again, but I'm aware that I'll have to sand/clean up the edges after cutting. It is advantageous to have strength.

This carbon fiber plate was cut perfectly squared, not a fiber out of place, and the plate thickness across each corner is very consistent, with very little variance. If you need something like a block off plate or something for a project, this is the stuff to get.

This is real carbon fiber with a nice sheen to it. Wear a respirator if you're going to cut it.

Carbon in its natural state. It's good, but it's a little too hard. When drilling through it, the back side cracks. The machines are fantastic.
