Questions & Answers

Is the window frame included in the size of these window treatments? Need to hide a fentanyl patch that's about the size of a nickel. 1 1/2" x 1 1/4" x 1 1/2" x 1 1/4" x 1 1/4" Just to be sure! ?

Hello, I just opened one to see how big it is - The length of the film is 2 meters. 3/16ths x 5/16ths x 5/16ths x 5/16ths x 5 1/16th - On each of the corners, however, a half-inch "shoulder" has been cut at a 45-degree angle. Because of the slant cut, the film is not quite square and does not meet the above corner measurements.

Tegaderm is a bacterial barrier that is both breathable and waterproof. Is Nexcare breathable, as well?

Yes, they're waterproof and breathable. They're used by my husband and he showers in them, and they're very durable.

Is it possible to get rid of the "window"? You place the dressing where you want it, then peel the paper "edges" off, as with the ones I bought at the drug store. ?

If you only need the edges of the Tegaderm, take an exato knife and cut out the center where you do not want it, then remove it and place it where you want it before peeling off the paper to place it. I've done it before with some wounds, but with these, the bandage allows air to pass through while protecting the skin and the area that needs to be protected. I've been using them daily for almost a year now to keep medication patches in place and have had no problems with them at all, and my skin is perfect. A tip for this is to never use soap on the area; instead, I clean off the adhesive with alcohol swabs, then dry it with clean water on a wash cloth, and then reapply it where I need it, and I have had no skin issues.

I work in a hospital, and these are all stamped with expiration dates. What year was this property built?

Hello and good day to you! LOT, according to the information on my most recent box: 2016- 07PA, as well as an hourglass symbol that is about to expire: 2016- 07br>I'm guessing July 2016 is the expiration date. I hope this information is useful.

Happy
5/5

When I change my glucose sensor every six days, I put one of these on top of it. It keeps it in place better than anything else and leaves no sticky residue behind. I had previously purchased on the internet at a lower price, but this was the lowest price I could find this time; I'm just grateful to have found them at a price I could afford, and they were shipped quickly. a successful business; Thank you very much! I will purchase from this seller again.

Lesions that are the result of a disease - Tega is (consistently) my best choice, and I adore it
5/5

I don't know what else to call it. "Band-aid" is a word that comes to mind when someone says "band-aid I have an autoimmune disease that manifests itself as ulcers. like lesions all over my body, like lesions on my skin are of various sizes If the wound is larger than 4X4, I can lay the tegaderms next to each other [slightly overlapping] to make a custom-sized, dirt-resistant wound dressing. A germ-resistant "Band-aid" is also available. For smaller wounds, I can slice them in half. They move and stretch with my skin (even in difficult-to-secure areas like the wrists, elbows, and knees) while maintaining the perimeter! They're absolutely fantastic! If the bleeding or oozing has stopped, a tegaderm is the perfect choice. (Even if the bleeding or oozing continues after you put a Tega on, you are still covid, because the tega will not be removed by wound juices! 100% strong recommendation.

Amazing! I adore you so much! This purchase was well worth it
5/5

I'm not sure why some people claim they're expired when the expiration date is 2023. I had been buying generic 6-packs at the pharmacy for nearly $20 each time, and I'm so glad I took a chance on this! Following my surgery, I needed breathable protection for some of the open areas of my suture line. Bandages and medical tape are allergens for me, as I discovered the hard way. That was HORRIBLY HORRIBLY HORRIBLY HORRIB Tegaderm has been the only thing that hasn't pulled my skin away from me or caused me to itch excessively.

First and foremost, all of these dressings are extremely useful for a variety of purposes
5/5

These are commonly used in hospitals to cover IV catheters and other medical devices. br>br>One thing I discovered is that they are incredibly useful for covering up medication patches. Tegaderm film dressings come in a variety of sizes, so make sure you get the right ones. They're ideal for smaller patches like transdermal duralgesic patches. These patches are notorious for coming off easily in a 20-minute period. The tegaderm dressing over the patch will ensure a watertight seal, consistent medication dosage, and allow you to work and move more freely without constantly worrying about the patch coming off or getting wet from rain, sweat, pool, etc. br>In addition, if you have drain tubes or other somewhat open wounds that need to be covered, you can place a piece of gauze over the drain or wound and then cover it with gauze. br>br>Now, in terms of cost, this is a no-brainer. This is the same product that can be found at CVS, Walgreens, and other similar stores. It costs $10-$15 in stores. 14 for 8. If you need more than a couple of dressings, this is a great place to go, and the dressings are excellent. br>br>Recently updated: Additional scenarios.

During shipping, the product was crushed
3/5

The product is excellent for caring for the wound from my cancer surgery. This order took a long time to arrive, and the boxes inside the soft package were crushed. The individual bandages are still usable, but the delivery is insufficient.

These are fantastic! These are fantastic
5/5

They're what I use to hide these self-inflicted blemishes. For the next three days, the adhesive medicine will not stick. The Nexcare Tegaderm Transparent Dressing keeps them in place, and I don't have to think about them or check to see if they're still there. For a while I used another (less expensive) brand, but they were out of stock, so I went back to these, and I forgot how much better they are than other Transparent Dress I've never worn them for more than three days, but by the third day, they're still perfect (as if I'd just put them on); It would probably last at least a week, in my opinion. Another thing they're frequently used for is as a band-aid substitute - Nexcare Tegaderm Transparent Dressings are far superior to band-aids, as they do not leave a sticky residue behind and do not cause the pain that band-aids (especially those of this size) cause when removed.

There will be no more squandering pain patches that fall off! Because I sweat a lot and toss and turn at night, it was difficult for me to keep my pain patches on for the full 72 hours
5/5

I tried them on various parts of my body, but they didn't seem to work in any of them. I tried using medical tape, but it started to peel off after a shower. I have two cats, and I was worried that my patch would fall off and be eaten by the cats. Cats don't like them! I needed to take action because I was wasting too many patches. These dressings were recommended in the brochure that came with my pain patches. I decided to give these a try after asking a lot of questions about it to other VERY helpful Amazon users. They're great, and they fit my Fentanyl 25 MCG/HR patches perfectly, with plenty of room to spare! They are very simple to install because of the window. You can see exactly where you're putting them, ensuring that your patch or other items are completely covered. When I have a window in place, I peel it off, but you are free to leave it on if you prefer. My patches are still in place after 72 hours and appear to have a long life ahead of them. There will be no more squandered patches or fear of it falling off. I also like how transparent they are, and how easy they are to remove by grabbing an end and peeling it away. They remove the pain patch as well. They appeared to be a bit pricey at first, but since I only use one every 72 hours, it's not that costly and well worth my peace of mind!.
