The fabric appears to be made of low grade polyester and rayon, and it has terrible absorbing properties There is no possible way I could.

As it was not intended for the purpose it was intended for, I did not use it. For my newborn, I used this to make a mummy costume. It was exactly what I needed and even though I used it for a different purpose I was impressed with its If I needed to use this for wound dressing in the future, I would purchase it again.

The other day, I went to the dollar store to buy some of these. The fact that we had to use bandages for a long time prompted me to find a cheaper alternative. A comparison of the two reveals the roll to be smaller and thinner. It gets worse as you roll towards the end, as the sides pull and it doesn't look as good as it did when you started. The material for bandaging is very good quality. Easy to wrap and has some stretch, which is great, as you can pull it a little tighter if it's needed. It's the type of product that I would purchase if I needed to.

As I put on the dressings, I wrapped this gauze around the forearm in order to keep it in place. As the stretch is just right, I just cut it once I'm done, and save the rest for a wrap for the next day. This product was just right for me. Not too large, not too heavy, and not too expensive. It's lightweight and not very absorbent, but does precisely the job. This is a great deal.

The 2nd time that I ordered this item from the same retailer, but this time it had a different brand and In the middle of a perfectly good and undamaged shipping box was the fragile product box crushed. I have no complaints about the gauze rolls, however. I have the feeling the quality is the same as that of the other brand.
