I do not recommend doing that. It is working very well and according to expectations. If you want to cut through the material once it is set, make sure to obtain scissor that can do this.
After the bag is opened, it begins to react to humidity. Therefore, you need to apply it fast. I've always found that it takes approximately three minutes to get the job done. I tried to wrap without drenching and then immerse in water to give more time. That did not seem to work.
